Giants recalled 1B Adam Duvall from Triple-A Fresno. Duvall didn't do much in his first stint with the big-league club back in June, but the 25-year-old has registered a stellar .303/.361/.626 batting line with 26 home runs and 79 RBI in 78 games this season at the Triple-A level. He should get a good amount of playing time at first base while Brandon Belt recovers from a concussion and is worth a try in deeper mixed leagues.

The 25-year old Duvall has progressed slowly through the Giants organization since being drafted in the 11th round in 2010 out of Louisville.

The 25-year-old is off to a red-hot start this season in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, as he's now batting .311/.380/.644 with five home runs and 16 RBI through 11 games. Last season Duvall endured a regression in the power department, hitting only 17 home runs at Double-A Richmond after belting 30 the previous year at High-A San Jose. While he lacks a clear path to playing time in the major leagues, Duvall could be called on at some point this season should Pablo Sandoval be forced to miss an extended period of time.
