Giants optioned INF Adam Duvall to Triple-A Fresno. Duvall never really had a shot of making the Giants' Opening Day roster and will finish out the rest of spring training on the minor league side of camp. The 25-year-old corner infielder batted .252/.320/.465 with 17 home runs and 58 RBI in 105 games last season at Double-A Richmond.
