Rask will suit up as the fourth line left wing in Tuesday's home game against Philadelphia, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Bruce Boudreau said Tuesday that he wants to get Rask more minutes going forward and get the 25-year-old going offensively per Russo. Since coming over from Carolina, Rask has mustered just two points in nine games for Minnesota. Look for Boudreau to get the Swede going by playing him in big situations, especially on the power play in the near future.

Rask notched a goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
In his fifth game with Minnesota, Rask scored his first goal wearing a new sweater. The 25-year-old has just two goals and eight points after missing the first 20 games of the season. It's been by far the worst offensive season for Rask, but hopefully his change of scenery will shake things up.

Rask will debut for Minnesota on Saturday against the Blue Jackets, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Bruce Boudreau obviously has already done his homework on Rask, who was traded from Carolina on Thursday for Nino Niederreiter, telling reporters Saturday morning that the center is a "good two-way player" with a "sneaky shot." Rask definitely could use a change of scenery after producing only six points through his first 26 games of the 2018-19 campaign, but in fairness, he did get off to a late start due to a kitchen accident that resulted in lacerated fingers.

Rask was sent to Minnesota from Carolina in an exchange for Nino Niederreiter on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Rask is currently bogged down in a 22-game goal drought, so a chance of scenery could help him jump start his season. The center has three more years left at a $4 million cap hit, which means the Wild will save $1.25 million annually compared to Niederreiter's deal.

Rask dished out two assists during 10:44 of action in Tuesday's win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Rask now has three helpers over the last two games on the Hurricanes' fourth line. It's been a bumpy season for Rask with one goal and five points in 22 games after racking up 31 points last year, but possibly this recent demotion will steer him in the right direction.

Rask is expected to center the fourth line Thursday against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
This should not come as much of a surprise, as Rask saw fewer than 10 minutes in two of the Canes' last three games just prior to the holiday break. With just two points in 15 games since returning from a hand injury in late November, Rask has been less than impressive to say the least. Needless to say, he should not be on your fantasy roster right now.

Rask scored a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs, giving him just two points in nine games since returning from a hand injury in late November.
EDGE Analysis
Rask was previously being used mostly in a top-six role during the past four seasons with the Hurricanes. This year, however, he's been centering the team's third line most nights since his return from the IR. Even with Jordan Staal currently out with a concussion, Rask has averaged just 11 minutes in ice time over the past two games, skating on a line with Brock McGinn and Janne Kuokkanen. From a fantasy perspective, it's hard to make a case for owning him right now, even in the deepest of formats.

Rask scored a first-period goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
This was Rask's first point in four games after he missed the first seven weeks of the season with an injured hand. While it's nice to see him back, he is currently skating on the team's fourth line averaging just 11:03 per game in ice time, quite a step back from the 15-17 minutes he was used to seeing historically. Rask put up just 31 points in 71 games last season, and will be hard-pressed to reach that level again this year, given his lengthy absence and current checking-line role.

Rask (hand) was taken off the non-roster, injured-reserve list ahead of Wednesday's matchup with Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Rask will likely slot in as the third-line center versus the Maple Leafs, although more firm confirmation of how the club intends to deploy him likely won't be clear until Wednesday's game-day skate. In order to make space for the Swede, Clark Bishop was shipped down to the minors.

Rask (hand) looks "ready to go" according to coach Rod Brind'Amour, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask is expected to ease his way back into action, but getting him back in the lineup should boost the scoring depth for a Hurricanes squad that is averaging a mere 2.50 goals (fifth fewest in the league). The Swede hasn't played since March of 2017, yet appears set to avoid a conditioning assignment in the minors. In order to suit up, the center will need to be taken off the non-roster, injured reserve list.
