In his return to the Bruins' lineup Monday against New Jersey, Krug (finger) recorded one shot on goal in 21:16 worth of ice time.
Krug, who had been out since breaking his finger on Oct. 28, also resumed his power play duties for the Bruins in his return to the lineup on Monday. While it may take some time for his shooting to completely round back into form, with no reported setbacks with his finger, it looks safe to roll with Krug (who has six points in 12 games to date) in fantasy lineups moving forward.

Krug (finger) was activated from injured reserve in advance of Monday's game against the Devils.
After being projected to miss two-to-three weeks after suffering a broken pinkie finger during an Oct. 28 contest, Krug ended up beating the short end of the timetable by one day. He'll replace Matt Bartkowski in Monday's lineup, with David Warsofsky (groin) moving to injured reserve to reopen a spot on the 23-man roster.

Krug (broken left pinky) practiced Friday, but his status for Monday's game against New Jersey is unclear, the Bruins' official site reports.
"I don't know, I mean it's one of the things that I'll talk to the medical staff and the coaches will make a decision and we'll see," Krug said with regard to his chances of suiting up on Monday. "You know, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." The report relays that the Bruins have Saturday off, so Krug's next chance to hit the ice and test his injured finger out further will arrive Sunday when the team returns to practice.

Krug (finger) was present for Friday's practice.
When Krug suffered a broken finger back on Oct. 28, the timetable for his return to action was estimated to be in the 2-3 week range. While Krug's presence at practice is a sign that he is progressing, the Boston Globe notes that the blueliner's return to the lineup hinges on his ability to hold on to/grip his hockey stick effectively. More on Krug's status as next week's busy stretch of games (four contests in six days) -- which opens with Monday's tilt against New Jersey -- approaches.

Krug (finger) skated prior to Tuesday's morning session.
Since Krug is recovering from a broken finger, Tuesday's session was strictly for conditioning work rather than an attempt to test out the injury. Krug is nearing the one week mark of his two-to-three week recovery timetable.

Krug scored on the power play and dished out two assists (one on the man advantage) in Tuesday's victory over the Sharks.
Easily the best outing of the year for Krug, who's on a three-game point streak now after starting the season with five straight scoreless contests. He should put up plenty of points this year thanks to his role on Boston's power play.

After he was held without a point in the first five games, Krug seems to be heating up along with the rest of his mates. He's now delivered a goal and assist while attempting seven shots over his last two tilts.
