For the first time since the days of Olaf Kolzig, Washington will boast an established true number-one goalie. Year in, year out, Vokoun has posted great numbers on an offensively anemic Panthers team and didn't often get the credit that he deserved, mostly because of where he played, but all that will change now in Washington. Playing for the cup contending Capitals, Vokoun should have a sub 2.50 goals-against average to go along with a save percentage that will rank in the top-tier of the league. He should be able to resgister 40 wins.
