Tomas Vokoun will start for Washington on Thursday against Edmonton. "Yeah, [Coach Bruce Boudreau] told me I'm playing," Vokoun said after practice on Wednesday. "You wait for the net and when you got it, you prepare. Obviously you prepare if you play or don't, but it's nice to know a couple days ahead." He has opened the season with six straight wins for the Capitals, while earning a .944 save percentage and a 1.80 GAA along the way.
