Tomas Vokoun has been selected as the NHL's third star of the week. Vokoun allowed just three goals in three games last week to extend his winning streak to six contests. Vokoun didn't play in the season opener, but a lower body injury to Michal Neuvirth has allowed Vokoun to start in every game since. At this point, Vokoun has established himself as the clear number one goaltender.
