The Philadelphia Flyers have been getting good goaltending lately. Mason is 3-0-2 with a 1.56 goals-against average in his past five starts, while Emery, who made 29 saves Thursday against Buffalo, is 3-1-0 with a 1.01 GAA in his past four. Mason likely will be in net for the Flyers against the Islanders today. Mason stopped 26 shots in Philadelphia's 5-2 win on Long Island on Oct. 26 in the teams' first meeting this season, although Emery is 6-0-1 with a 1.69 GAA lifetime against the Islanders.

Steve Mason got that much closer to .500 on Tuesday, improving his record to 6-7-2 thanks to the Philadelphia Flyers' 5-2 win against the Ottawa Senators. Mason has been great all season, but he hasn't gotten much support until recently. He's now won three of his last four, allowing only six goals in his last eight games. His overall individual numbers are fantastic: a .932 save percentage and 2.12 GAA.

Steve Mason stopped 36 shots but it was not enough as the Flyers lost 3-2 in a shootout to Winnipeg Friday night. Mason has been exceptional this season, but has a mediocre 5-7-2 record with a.931 save percentage and 2.13 goals against average.

Steve Mason logged his first shutout of the 2013-14 season as the Philadelphia Flyers cruised against the Ottawa Senators 5-0 on Tuesday. Mason turned aside all 24 shots he faced. Despite much of the hockey world quitting on him, the 25-year-old has fantastic individual stats (.930 save percentage, 2.15 GAA) amid the turmoil that made a 5-7-1 record difficult to avoid.

Steve Mason permitted just two goals on 26 shots for his fourth win of the year on Saturday. The Flyers doubled up Edmonton by a score of 4-2 in matinee contest. Mason owns an impressive .925 save percentage and a solid 2.34 GAA despite having a 4-7-1 record.

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Steve Mason just barely fell short of a fourth win as the Carolina Hurricanes pulled out a 2-1 OT win on Tuesday. Jordan Staal foiled Mason's shutout attempt with a goal within the last minute of the third period and then Manny Malhotra beat him on a breakaway. Mason clearly deserves better than his 3-7-1 record, as he has a .925 save percentage.

Steve Mason stopped just 14 of 17 shots in a Friday's 7-0 loss to the Washington Capitals. Mason had a 2.25 GAA and .928 save percentage going into tonight's contest despite the Flyers' horrid record. He was pulled from the game in the second period, but was put back in after Ray Emery started a fight and got a game misconduct as a result. Yes, really. Emery turned aside 11 of 15 shots when he played between the pipes.

Steve Mason again played great, but again suffered a loss in a 3-2 defeat to Anaheim Tuesday night. Mason stopped 34 of the 37 shots he faced, but a parade of 14 shots and two goals in the third period snapped his personal two game win streak. In nine games, Mason has just three wins despite a .923 save percentage.
