Couturier added his third assist of the season in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier is off to a slow start this season. The young, defensive-minded center has never broken the 40-point mark in his previous four seasons, and he's not on pace to do it this year. Beyond that, his minus-5 rating coupled with the overall stink that is the Flyers means there are better, low-end fantasy options out there.

Couturier (upper body) will return to game action Thursday against Calgary, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier has missed the Flyers' last six games with an upper-body injury, so he will likely have some rust to shake off early on in Thursday night's tilt against the Flames. The 22-year-old forward has tallied three points (one goal, two assists) in six games this season, and is expected to center Matt Read and Wayne Simmonds on Philadelphia's second line in Thursday's contest.

Couturier (upper body) is expected to play Thursday against the Flames, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier reportedly has been a non-contact participant in four hard practices, an encouraging sign that he's nearly ready to go. However, he'll need to prove that he can endure contact in practice before officially getting the green light to play Thursday.

Couturier will join the team Tuesday in Edmonton, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier, who has been dealing with an upper-body injury that he suffered October 21, will join the Flyers ahead of their game against the Oilers on Tuesday. This obviously means that Couturier will not be in the lineup for Monday's contest with Vancouver.

Couturier (upper body) remains day-to-day, but his status for Monday's game against the Canucks is uncertain, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier has been limited to just six outings this season as he continues to be hampered by an upper-body injury which was suffered on Oct. 21 while facing the Bruins. If he's ultimately ruled out Monday, Chris VandeVelde is expected to remain on the fourth line at center.

Couturier (upper body) will not play Friday against the Sabres, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier will miss his fourth straight game Friday with the upper body ailment, which many believe to be a concussion. Scott Laughton will continue to center R.J. Umberger and Brayden Schenn on Philadelphia's third line in Couturier's absence. The 22-year-old center's next chance to return to action will come Monday against Vancouver.

Couturier (upper body) missed the morning skate Thursday after being held out of the previous day's skate, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers have a game against the Devils on Thursday night, but Couturier appears to be doubtful for this home tilt. When healthy, he provides decent utility in the form of goals and assists, having added three goals through six contests to start the 2015-16 campaign.

Couturier remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier is widely believed to have a concussion, but the team is unwilling to confirm as such. He hasn't played in either of the last two games because of the issue, and a return Thursday doesn't seem likely unless he's able to participate in morning skate.

Couturier, who is dealing with concussion symptoms, will not play Tuesday night against the Sabres, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier will sit out for the second straight game as a result of the head injury he suffered last Wednesday. Couturier will need to be cleared before he can take the ice again, but there is a chance he could play in the Flyers' next game Thursday against the Devils.

Couturier (upper body) did not skate with the team Monday, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier was held out of Saturday's tilt against the Rangers after suffering an upper-body injury early in the week. Unless he's able to return to practice earlier in the day, his status looks iffy for Tuesday's game against the Sabres, though the club should provide an update closer to the start of the contest.
