Spooner dished out an assist and finished with a plus-3 rating in Sunday's loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner was a factor offensively in this one, raising his plus/minus rating to minus-3 on the year. The point was good enough for the 24-year-old to reach the 40-point plateau for the first time in his career, so he's worthy of consideration on the waiver wire if he's still available.

Spooner tallied a primary assist in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Anaheim, extending his point streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner has been tearing it up since he was promoted to centering Boston's second line in the absence of David Krejci on Dec. 29. In the 14 games since, Spooner has recorded 15 points. With Krejci's return, Spooner has began to play wing on Krejci's line, and hasn't missed a beat. The 23-year old looks more and more confident with every game he plays, and is a likely candidate to score 60-plus points this season.

In advance of Monday's game against the Flyers, Spooner moved from the right wing on Patrice Bergeron's line to the left wing on a trio with David Krejci and Loui Eriksson, the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen how long Spooner plays on the wing, but the recent return to action of David Krejci created a situation where Spooner either needed to man the middle on the B's third line, or work as a top-six winger. Given the caliber of his linemates of late, as a winger, Spooner -- who has helpers in each of his last two games -- looks like a solid fantasy play at the moment. Overall, he has notched 10 goals and 35 points in 47 game to date.

Spooner scored a goal and chipped in two helpers while skating to a plus-3 in Friday's 4-1 win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Of all the players on a hot streak right now, this guy has got to be one of the most unassuming. Spooner now has 11 points in his last eight games and is up to 33 points in 43 games in 2015-16, his fourth in the NHL. The 2010 second-round pick has never played more than 29 NHL games in any one season so it's no surprise that his 10 goals, 23 assists and 86 shots on goal are all career highs.

Spooner scored a goal and chipped in a helper in Friday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
The center is now riding a four-game point streak, a span that's featured six points and 11 shots on goal. Spooner has picked up the slack in lieu of David Krejci (upper body) and is now up to 28 points in 39 games, which is an impressive 59-point pace after he opened his NHL career with 29 points in 56 games spread over three separate seasons.

With David Krejci out and considered "week-to-week," Spooner has been elevated to Krejci's slot on a line centering Matt Beleskey and Loui Eriksson, CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner, who has not recorded a point over his last four games, has tallied eight goals and 14 assists in 35 games overall this season. A top-six role while helping fill the void created by Krejci's absence should help re-ignite the speedy Spooner, who had been a roll earlier this month, in which he notched 10 points over a six-game span. It's an opportunity that should provide the 23-year-old pivot with added opportunities to produce in both power-play and even strength situations while Krejci is sidelined.

Spooner dished out four assists while skating to a plus-3 rating in Friday's 6-2 road win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Most impressively, all four were of the primary variety -- including all three of Frank Vatrano's hat-trick tallies. The four-point explosion gives Spooner a very respectable 22 points in 31 games this season, 10 of which have come in the last six games, so it's safe to say he's hot right now and makes for a strong fantasy play as long as he's streaking -- even if he is just a third-line center.

Spooner collected an empty-net goal and a primary assist in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner directed a lazer toward Jimmy Hayes for a second-period score, before adding to the shutout win by sliding the biscuit into an unguarded net. Spoonman recorded eight goals and 10 assists last season, and he has that same output through 30 games this year. The difference this year is that he is playing full-time. He's a sneaky fantasy option on a team with more recognizable names in Brad Marchand and David Krejci, to name a few.

Spooner scored twice Saturday to lead the Bruins to a 3-1 win over the Panthers. He scored once on the power play and it stood as the winner.
EDGE Analysis
The second-round pick from 2010 is on a three-game point streak (two goals, two assists) and now has 16 points in 28 games. That puts Spooner on a mid-40s pace in what will likely be his first full season. He's anchoring the B's third line and helping the team deliver offence from its top-nine guys.

Spooner scored a goal in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner's power-play tally at the 16:14 mark of the third period tied the game at 3-3, with David Krejci notching the game-winner just 2:03 later. Overall, Spooner -- who previously had gone four games without notching a point -- has recorded five goals and 12 points in 22 games for the B's. On Friday, Spooner worked on a line with Joonas Kemppainen and Brett Connolly, a trio that could stick for the time-being, given that Connolly also tallied in the contest.
