Spooner picked up a pair of assists in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Florida, pushing his point streak to four games.
In fact, over his last seven contests, Spooner has four goals and four assists, marking some red-hot late-season production that's provided a crucial boost to the Bruins' scoring depth as they've been fighting to gain and hold a playoff spot.

Spooner opened the scoring in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over the Hurricanes.
Spooner, who now has seven goals and 15 points in 23 games for the big club this season, has recorded six points over his last six contests. Though David Krejci has been back in the B's lineup since Thursday, Spooner's solid production of late has kept him in the team's forward mix, centering Milan Lucic and David Pastrnak, who tallied Sunday's game-winner.

Coach Claude Julien stressed Friday that Spooner would remain a lineup regular even after David Krejci (knee) returns to the lineup, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
Spooner has been spectacular since being called up from AHL Providence in February to fill in as the second-line center during Krejci's absence. After a two-goal performance in Thursday's loss to the Senators, Spooner has now produced five goals and six assists over 13 games, while helping the Bruins create a little separation for the final wild-card spot in the process. With Krejci on tap to return as soon as the weekend, it will be interesting to see how Julien configures his lines, but expect Spooner to stick around in the Bruins' top six.

Spooner ended a brief offensive slump with a pair of goals -- one on the power play -- on seven shots Thursday in a 6-4 loss to Ottawa.
Spooner's always been known as a distributor, so seeing him fire off seven shots on goal is a bit of a stunner. After a seven-game point streak, he'd cooled off with three straight off the scoresheet, but got right back at it in impressive fashion. The 23-year-old now owns 11 points in 18 games with the Bruins this season, and if his consistently strong AHL production is any indicator, he could be in line for a legitimate breakout next year.

Spooner pushed his point streak to six games by scoring a pair of second-period goals Tuesday in a 3-1 win over Ottawa.
He opened the game's scoring with a power-play goal early in the second and added an insurance goal late in the period. Spooner's now tallied three goals and four assists over the course of his streak, and he's been doing it despite inconsistent ice time -- he skated just 13 minutes Tuesday and 12 on Sunday, a steep cut from the 15-plus he was playing in the first six games after his recall.

Spooner dished out a secondary assist on Brad Marchand's game-winning goal Saturday against the Flyers.
The long-term absence to David Krejci (knee) has created an opportunity for Spooner to claim a second-line role, and thus far, he's answered the bell. The 23-year-old center has recorded points in four consecutive games (one goal, three assists), while seeing his ice time rise as a result. Spooner's role isn't likely to decline in the near future with Krejci still several weeks away from a return, so those in deeper leagues may want to kick the tires on the youngster for a little bit.

Spooner scored the overtime-winning goal Friday against the Devils.
It was just the first goal of the season for Spooner, who has tallied two points in eight games. With top center David Krejci set to miss four-to-six weeks with a partially torn MCL, Spooner was recalled from AHL Providence and is currently centering the Bruins' second line. Considering his terrific playmaking ability, Spooner could be worth looking at until Krejci returns.

Spooner centered David Pastrnak and Milan Lucic during Tuesday's morning skate.
With David Krejci set to miss 4-6 weeks with a partially torn MCL, Spooner has a chance to make a mark in the meantime. The 23-year-old has zero goals and 12 assists in 33 career NHL games to date, but in the absence of the B's making a trade to add depth down the middle, opportunity knocks for Spooner, who as a result, now merits attention in both season-long and daily formats.

Spooner recorded an assist in 15:53 worth of ice time in Sunday's 6-2 win over Chicago.
With David Krejci dealing with an injury that could keep him out for a while, Spooner -- who recorded 3:05 worth of power play time Sunday -- could be worth a scoop by those looking to bolster their center depth, given the 23-year old's wheels and playmaking upside.

Spooner, who was recalled from AHL Providence on Saturday, will play in Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports. With David Krejci (lower body) ruled out, Spooner will make his sixth NHL appearance of the season. He had 11 points (all assists) in 23 games last season, but he's still searching for his first NHL point of 2014-15.
