The Crown dropped its impaired driving case against O'Reilly, which was supposed to begin Monday, CTV London reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly was charged after his pickup truck was alleged to have struck a Tim Hortons coffee shop in London, Ontario in the early hours of July 9, 2015. The Crown decided to drop the case after no eyewitnesses could place O'Reilly at the scene of the accident, and O'Reilly claims that he was not behind the wheel at the time. There was some trepidation toward O'Reilly's status for the beginning of the 2016-17 season due to the trial, but with the charges dropped he's no longer expected to miss any time. The versatile center led the Sabres with 60 points and all NHL forwards in ice time per game. His seven-year, $52.5 million extension will kick in this coming season.

O'Reilly finished as the team's leading scorer in his first season with Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly was third on the team with 21 goals and first with 39 assists, falling four points shy of his career-high. Despite a spotty record in free agency, the Sabres managed to hit with O'Reilly, who also averaged 21:44 of ice time per night, more than any other Sabres forward, and was also named the team's Masterton Trophy nominee for his hard work and dedication. The Sabres are Jack Eichel's team, but O'Reilly has a very big role to play. With a healthy season of potential linemate Evander Kane and an improved year from the Sabres, O'Reilly can be an excellent fantasy player.

O'Reilly picked up an assist for his 60th point of the year in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Buffalo's year stops here, but O'Reilly was able to set a new career-high 39 assists and reach 60 points for second time. The center had a great all-around campaign at the helm on the first line, with the only downer being his minus-16 rating (worst of his career). The Sabres should be a better team next season, which will only bode well for O'Reilly and his potential production.

O'Reilly will play Tuesday against New Jersey, reports Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly missed Monday's practice for undisclosed reasons but will be ready to go against New Jersey. He is their team's best player and averages 21:46 per night, more than any other forward on the team. He's been on fire lately with three goals and three assists in his past four games, so he's a must-start for fantasy owners.

O'Reilly missed Monday's practice and is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Devils, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's no indication that O'Reilly suffered an injury in Saturday's game against the Rangers, but he did see a slight drop in ice time from his average. His absence could have big implications on the fantasy playoffs, so owners should check back for an updated status on game day.

O'Reilly lit the lamp twice on three shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly has found twine in two of the last three, which sounds like the center has been hungry around the crease, but that wasn't the case before his short spurt of markers. The 25-year-old went 24 straight without a goal, however he did notch 18 assists in that span. O'Reilly has reached 20 tallies for the second time in his career, although the minus-16 rating is one stat owners could do without.

O'Reilly recorded a shorthanded goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old has had a successful first season in Buffalo, racking up 57 points thus far -- his highest total since recording 64 with Colorado during the 2013-14 season. O'Reilly has points in two straight games and five points over his last six games. He continues to make for a strong play on a young, but talented Sabres team.

O'Reilly contributed an assist in Monday's loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly helped setup a goal with just under two minutes remaining as part of a late flurry of goals, but Buffalo's comeback effort fell just short in the 3-2 defeat. The 25-year-old is amidst a long scoring drought, as he hasn't found the back of the net since Jan. 8, but he's continued to dish out the helpers during that span.

O'Reilly registered an assist and played 22:02 in his first game back from a foot injury on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite head coach Dan Bylsma's promise that he won't be giving O'Reilly his regular minutes after an 11-game absence, O'Reilly ended up playing more than his season average. That's most likely because O'Reilly played 5:26 on the power play in a game filled with penalties, but with an assist and three shots on goal, O'Reilly didn't look very rusty. Though Jack Eichel is the team's franchise player, O'Reilly remains the team's No. 1 center and his 50 points, 20 of which come on the power play, make him a serviceable fantasy player.

O'Reilly (foot) will return to the lineup against the Canadiens on Wednesday, reports The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly missed four weeks with a foot injury and will skate on a line with Evander Kane and Nicolas Deslauriers. Kane and O'Reilly showed some good chemistry early in the season, and although Kane has played well with Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart, head coach Dan Bylsma is hoping to have two balanced scoring lines. The Habs should be a prime opportunity for the Sabres to score a few goals, especially with the Habs missing Carey Price and P.K. Subban.
