O'Reilly (undisclosed) aggravated his mid-body injury Friday and is questionable against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
If O'Reilly is unable to play, Cole Schneider will likely draw back into the lineup and Sam Reinhart will handle duties at center. O'Reilly is arguably the most valuable player on the Sabres and not having him in the lineup will certainly hurt. He's considered a game-time decision.

O'Reilly reaggravated his mid-body injury in Friday's loss to the Devils, leaving the game 3:49 into the third period.
EDGE Analysis
Apparently, this is related to the ailment that kept O'Reilly out of Wednesday's game against the Senators. Without O'Reilly, the Sabres shifted Sam Reinhart to center with Evander Kane and Matt Moulson on the wings. The Sabres will face the Devils again Saturday, but it's unknown at this point whether they'll have O'Reilly available. Several of the team's forwards are ailing, and Buffalo can ill-afford to lose another key playmaker like No. 90.

O'Reilly (upper body) told reporters he would be back in the lineup Friday against the Devils, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly missed just one game with this upper-body ailment but his return should provide a boost for the injury-ravaged Sabres. When healthy this year, the center has notched four goals and four assists, yet has been held off the scoresheet in his last three outings. The 25-year-old figures to be back on Buffalo's top power-play unit, which serves to increase his fantasy value.

O'Reilly is suffering from an upper-body injury that leaves him day-to-day, Bill Hoppe of the Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
It appears O'Reilly has avoided a major issue and can't be ruled out for Friday's tilt against New Jersey. The team should continue to update his status as the contest draws closer, but Sam Reinhart replaced him as the top-line center Wednesday and would likely be the top candidate to do so again Friday should O'Reilly be unavailable once again.

O'Reilly (undisclosed) did not take the ice for pregame warmups Wednesday and will sit out the evening's contest against the Senators, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly was a surprise question mark that popped up Wednesday after he missed morning skate, and the mystery issue will result in Cole Schneider drawing into the lineup. Sam Reinhart will center the Sabres' top line against the Senators. while O'Reilly will aim to rejoin the lineup Friday when they host the Devils, looking to improve on his eight points (four goals, four assists) through 12 contests this season.

O'Reilly (undisclosed) did not skate Wednesday morning and may not suit up against Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
No reason was given for O'Reilly's absence from the morning skate, but he's officially questionable against the Senators. It's been a trying year for the Sabres with injuries to key players and and O'Reilly's absence will create a huge void at center. He's averaging 22:17 TOI per game with eight points and 40 shots on goal in 12 games. His absence creates a favorable matchup for the Sens, although Evander Kane (ribs) will return to the lineup. Stay tuned for updates but for now consider O'Reilly a game-time decision.

O'Reilly's fourth of the season got Buffalo on the board in Tuesday's 2-1 win against Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
As is often the case, O'Reilly led all Sabres forwards in ice time with 23:27, and also finished with a team-high five shots on goal and three takeaways. He's again been the bright spot for a middling start for the Sabres, and his versatility and consistency makes him an attractive fantasy asset. He now has eight points in nine games and on pace to set a career-high - his best season to date was in 2012-13 when he scored 64 points.

O'Reilly tallied an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly has struggled since a hot start to the season where he had two goals and five points in his first three games. Now the focal point of the Sabres offense with Jack Eichel (ankle) still sidelined, O'Reilly will see increased attention from opposing defenses in the next few weeks, but should still be an effective contributor for fantasy owners.

O'Reilly scored a pair of goals and had two assists in Sunday's win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
A dominant effort from O'Reilly, who logged 20:32 of ice time. The 25-year-old put up 21 goals and 60 points in his first season with the Sabres and appears destined for another successful season as the team's top-line center. Use him well.

O'Reilly will suit up for Opening Night on Thursday against the Canadiens, Bill Hoppe of the Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly's return will be a boost to fantasy owners and fans alike as he slots into his normal spot anchoring both the Sabres' top line and their number one power-play unit. In his first year with Buffalo, the 25-year-old racked up 21 goals and 39 helpers, but was a minus-16 throughout the season. The center averaged 21:44 during the 2015-16 campaign which is comparable to the type of minutes you see from defenseman and contributes to his top-end fantasy value.
