O'Reilly scored a shorthanded tally to hit the 20-goal mark during Monday's loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The Buffalo captain has now registered 20 goals both seasons as a Sabre, and he's proven to be a reliable scorer with four straight 50-point campaigns. However, he hardly moves the needle in the peripheral categories with just 10 PIM, 20 hits and a minus-1 rating this year. He has shown an uptick in shot volume this season with 184 shots through 69 games, though. Still, while O'Reilly remains a solid fantasy asset, his upside is capped due to his underwhelming supporting statistics.

O'Reilly scored a goal and recorded three shots on net during Friday's shootout win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran is turning in another solid offensive campaign with 17 goals, 47 points and 168 shots through 62 games. However, it's worth noting that O'Reilly provides little in the supporting categories. He has just 10 PIM, 18 hits and owns an even plus-minus rating, so the lack of peripheral coverage hurts his stock in certain settings. Still, he logs huge minutes (21:39 per game with 3:06 on the power play), so you can rely on his offensive production.

O'Reilly led off the games scoring with a goal 6:19 into the first period of Sunday's 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres jumped out to a 3-0 lead, only to have their hopes crushed by the reigning champs. O'Reilly notched a point for the fourth-straight game, and a goal for the third-straight, with six points in that four-game span. Despite being on a low-scoring team, he's been red hot and deserves a fantasy start as long as this streak continues.

O'Reilly scored the Sabres only goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Lightning. It came on the power play.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly is on a three-game, five-point scoring streak in which he has scored two goals and three assists. His 43 points put him in a tie with Kyle Okposo for the team lead in scoring.

O'Reilly scored a power-play goal and dished out two assists -- one shorthanded -- in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres scored a pair of empty-netters, but O'Reilly got all his points the hard way, including assisting on Evander Kane's game-winner late in the third period. His scoring pace has slowed a tad this year -- 42 points in 54 games -- and he's had a couple of injury absences, so O'Reilly hasn't been a perfect fantasy asset, but it's hard to imagine a league so shallow that he isn't a quality play.

O'Reilly picked up a power-play goal and an assist in the third period of Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win against San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
He was instrumental in Buffalo's comeback from a 4-1 deficit -- O'Reilly's goal at 9:03 of the final frame made it 4-2, and his helper came on Kyle Okposo's game-tying tally 3:28 later. O'Reilly had been a bit cool lately, netting just two points in his past six games, but you can't keep the guy down for long. The time he's missed to injury will most likely keep him from hitting 60 points again, but that doesn't change the fact that O'Reilly is playing perhaps the best hockey of his career.

O'Reilly notched two assists in a 3-2 overtime win against Montreal on Saturday, giving him four points in his past two games.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly looked none the worse for wear despite playing back-to-back games, notching a goal and an assist Friday against Detroit and then assisting on Cody Franson and Zach Bogosian's goals against Montreal. He played over 22 minutes for the third straight game, and since returning from an emergency appendectomy has scored 11 points in nine games. He's a very valuable fantasy asset given his dual position eligibility in most formats and should be able to reach the 60-point plateau by the end of the season at this rate.

O'Reilly scored a goal and added an assist during Friday's win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
It was O'Reilly's fourth two-point showing in January, and the pivot is now up to nine goals, 27 points and 105 shots through 35 games. While he's a solid scorer, there isn't much production in some of the peripheral categories, as the 25-year-old pivot has just six PIM and six hits all season. Still, in the heart of his prime and locked into a top offensive role, O'Reilly's one of the more reliable secondary contributors in both the real and virtual game.

O'Reilly collected a pair of assists (one on the power play) and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
As usual, he led all Buffalo forwards in ice time, skating 22:38 in this one after clearing a whopping 24 minutes in Saturday's game. O'Reilly has turned on the jets since coming back from a four-game absence due to an appendectomy, as he's now posted three consecutive two-point efforts. Even with the time he's missed to injury, if O'Reilly can stay healthy for the rest of the campaign, another 60-point season isn't out of the question.
