Fabbri gave the Blues a 2-1 win over Buffalo on Monday with his third-period goal.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri broke an eight-game goalless drought but should thank the hockey gods for a fortuitous bounce. Though credited with his third goal of the season, the puck actually went into the net after bouncing off Josh Gorges' leg. Fabbri finished with three shots on goal and played 11:49.

Fabbri scored a goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri had a nice showing in his seventh NHL contest, recording the aforementioned two points while skating to a plus-2 and taking a game-high five shots on goal. Given the right opportunity, the 2014 first-round pick could make waves this season, as he's got some serious offensive pedigree behind him (138 points in his last 88 games in major junior with the Guelph Storm).

Fabbri (concussion) will return to the ice for Tuesday's game against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri has been sidelined since Oct. 10 because of the concussion issues, but he will finally make his return to the ice for Tuesday's contest. The highly-touted youngster notched his first career NHL goal the game prior to the injury, and will look to continue adding to that total in his return to the ice.

Despite earlier reports that indicated otherwise, Fabbri (concussion) will not play Saturday against the Islanders, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri practiced Friday, and reportedly looked good on the ice, which seemed to indicate he would be ready to return to action Saturday against the Islanders. However, St. Louis seems to be proceeding with caution with their promising 19-year-old forward. Considering his increased participation in practice of late, Fabbri could realistically be ready for Tuesday's tilt against the Lightning.

Fabbri (concussion) looked good in practice Friday morning and "all indications" point to him being ready for Saturday's game against the visiting Islanders, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.
EDGE Analysis
A Fabbri return would come at a great time for the Blues, as it was recently reported that winger Jaden Swartz sustained an injury to his left leg, and the team was already without playmaking center Paul Stastny due to a foot injury. Just 19 years old, Fabbri could be asked to take on a larger role in the wake of the aforementioned injuries to his teammates. Fabbri needs time to mature in the NHL, but the 21st overall draft selection of 2014 certainly has the offensive talent, as he tore up the OHL with the Guelph Storm between 2012-15, dropping 171 points in 147 games over those three seasons.

Fabbri (concussion) resumed skating Wednesday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday marked the first time Fabbri returned to the ice in any capacity after being placed on injured reserve last Wednesday with a concussion. If he's able to practice fully at some point this week, he may be ready to return to game action as soon as Saturday against the Islanders.

The Blues placed Fabbri (concussion) on IR on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri suffered a concussion in Saturday's game against the Wild after taking an elbow to the head. Now that he's been placed on IR, he'll be sidelined for the next seven days, meaning his next chance to return to game action will come on Oct. 24 against the Islanders. Chris Butler was recalled from AHL Chicago on Wednesday to take Fabbri's place on the Blues' 23-man roster.

Fabbri is out indefinitely with his concussion injury, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri took an elbow to the head in Saturday's game against Minnesota, apparently leading to the injury. It's an unfortunate development for Fabbri, as he made the team out of training camp and could have made an immediate impact for the Blues as a quick-skating center with great hands, a scorer's touch and rigid work ethic. He still has appeal in deeper leagues and dynasty formats for those willing to wait out the injury.

Fabbri (upper body) could be out through Oct. 18, when the Blues finish a six-game road trip, Andrew Allsman of kmov.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri apparently still has a chance to play during the road trip, but more clarity should arise on the injury once he's reevaluated ahead of Tuesday's game in Calgary. Here's hoping he can return soon, as Fabbri was the 21st overall selection of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, and is considered the top prospect for the Blues. Scottie Upshall or Scott Gomez reportedly have a chance to take Fabbri's place in the lineup as long as the rookie is out.
