Fabbri (concussion) looked good in practice Friday morning and "all indications" point to him being ready for Saturday's game against the visiting Islanders, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.

A Fabbri return would come at a great time for the Blues, as it was recently reported that winger Jaden Swartz sustained an injury to his left leg, and the team was already without playmaking center Paul Stastny due to a foot injury. Just 19 years old, Fabbri could be asked to take on a larger role in the wake of the aforementioned injuries to his teammates. Fabbri needs time to mature in the NHL, but the 21st overall draft selection of 2014 certainly has the offensive talent, as he tore up the OHL with the Guelph Storm between 2012-15, dropping 171 points in 147 games over those three seasons.
