Budaj saved 27 of 29 shots during Monday's loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
It was a tough-luck loss for Budaj, but it was also just his second defeat over his past seven starts. He entered Monday's game with 20 wins, a .917 save percentage and 2.09 GAA, which are No. 1 goalie results in the majority of seasonal leagues. With a hefty workload behind a defensively aware team, Budaj is in position to continue providing excellent numbers, too.

Budaj will get the starting nod against the Lightning on Monday, Dennis Bernstein of the Professional Hockey Writers Association reports.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj has captured wins in five of his previous six outings with a .902 save percentage. Given the offensive struggles of the Kings -- 2.53 goals per game -- the netminder has had to be stellar in order to keep racking up the wins. Considering Budaj wasn't even expected to begin the season as the backup, fantasy owners will be thrilled with his value after beating out Jeff Zatkoff for the No. 1 job, albeit a role he will likely lose once Jonathan Quick (groin) returns.

Budaj stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced in Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj secured his 20th win of the season, as he continues to show no signs of slowing down. He last posted 20 wins back in 2008-09 as a member of the Avalanche, and he is on pace to smash his previous career high of 31 wins set in 2006-07. He can be trusted as a No. 2 goaltender in all fantasy pools until further notice.

Budaj will guard the crease in Saturday's home contest with the Jets, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj allowed just one goal en route to the victory over the Blues on Thursday, giving him a 3-1-0 record in the month of January. The Czech netminder will look to keep it going against a Jets' lineup that averages 2.73 goals per game, 14th in the NHL.

Budaj allowed one goal on 22 shots in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj's team made life easy for the goaltender, staking him to a 4-0 lead less than 26 minutes in. He has faced 24 or fewer shots four times in his past five appearances, so it's no surprise the Slovakian is 4-1-0 over that span. Things could get a bit tougher with a pair of above-average offenses in the Jets and Lightning set to visit next.

Budaj will tend the twine in Thursday's tilt against St. Louis, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
The netminder has looked bad in his last two appearances, with an .826 save percentage, allowing eight goals. Unfortunately for Budaj and his owners, the Blues are eighth in the NHL in scoring, averaging 2.83 goals per game. Thursday could end up being a long night for the 34-year-old.

Budaj saved just 17 of 22 shots before being pulled in the third period of Monday's loss to Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Leading into Monday's game, Budaj notched five wins with a .948 save percentage and a 1.43 GAA over his prior nine outings, so don't sweat the rough showing too much. The 34-year-old veteran has been outstanding in Jonathan Quick's (groin) absence, and Budaj checks out as a fringe No. 1 goalie for your fantasy club. After all, he has 18 wins with a respectable .916 save percentage and high-end 2.13 GAA.

Budaj led his team onto the ice for pregame warmups Monday, and thus is in line to start against the Stars, Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period reports.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj was fortunate to knock off the Wild in his last start Saturday, as he allowed three goals on just 24 shots. Nonetheless, he's carrying a three-game winning streak into Monday's date with the visiting Stars and will look to earn win No. 19 in what's been a spectacular season (.919 save percentage, 2.03 GAA) for the journeyman backup.

Budaj made 21 saves Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
This was the first time Budaj had allowed more than two goals since Dec. 13. He is well on his way to delivering the best season of his career.

Budaj led his team out on the ice for warmups in preparation to face the Wild at home Saturday, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Budaj is on a terrific run, having allowed no more than two goals in a given outing in the last eight games. Still, Minnesota could be on a high after a 5-4 comeback win against San Jose on Thursday, and Budaj's opponent has the on-paper advantage in most of the key team metrics. Proceed with caution.
