Paul Postma should be considered a primary candidate to replace injured defenseman Zach Bogosian on Winnipeg's roster. He didn't play regularly with the Jets last season, but signed a one-way deal with the team earlier this summer and has displayed some offensive skills in the minors. Postma registered 13 goals and 44 points in 56 games with the St. John's IceCaps last year and he skated in three contests with Winnipeg. He will likely have to beat out a player like Zach Redmond, who could get a look as well, for the job though.

The 22-year-old finished second in scoring on the Jets during the preseason with two goals and three assists in four games. He should be among the first promoted from the back end if something occurs.
