Sharp found twine twice in the first 4:10 of Game 3 on Wednesday, a 5-2 loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The Thunder Bay native also fired a game-high seven shots on goal, which actually made up 41 percent of Dallas' shots (17) in the contest. The goals were Sharp's first playoff points as a Star and give him 83 in 132 career playoff games, so look for him to continue to provide elevated secondary scoring and the type of veteran savvy expected from a three-time Stanley Cup winner.

Sharp scored for the third straight game in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
The first line of Dallas has looked unstoppable at times, as Sharp was able to pot in goal No. 20 on the season. The winger started the year hot around the crease, but has since seen his numbers drop despite consistent shots on net (just four markers after the All-Star break including the recent streak). The 34-year-old remains a threat to find twine, especially with an average of almost three minutes on the power play.

Sharp scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength helper in 14:02 of ice time in a 4-2 win over the Sharks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was Sharp's 18th of the season, but only his second since Jan. 3. The winger has had a rough March, playing in only six games in the month and posting a minus-7 rating. The 34-year-old is on pace for the second lowest goal output of his career, not counting 2012 when he only played in six games.

Coach Lindy Ruff said there's "a chance" that Sharp (lower body) returns to the lineup Thursday against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Sharp has been out of the lineup since March 1. His status is expected to be updated after morning skate Thursday. Though he went through a full practice Wednesday, don't jump the gun on returning Sharp to your roster. "A chance" doesn't mean that he's likely to be back.

Sharp (lower body) won't suit up for Tuesday's game against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Lindy Ruff indicated Monday that Sharp may be available for Tuesday's matchup with LA, but the 34-year-old winger is evidently still feeling the effects of the lower-body injury he sustained on Feb. 29. The Stars and fantasy owners alike will hope to have the former third-round pick back in their lineups as soon as possible, as he's been a steady source of offense this season, notching 47 points (17 goals, 30 assists) in 65 games. Sharp's next chance to return to game action will come Thursday against Tampa Bay.

Coach Lindy Ruff indicated Monday that Sharp (lower body) may rejoin the lineup Tuesday against the Kings, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sharp suffered the lower-body injury Feb. 29, and hasn't taken the ice for game action since. That may finally change Tuesday, and the winger's return would provide a big offensive boost (47 points in 65 games) to a Stars lineup already among the most potent in the league. Expect another update on game day confirming his status, but there's certainly some encouraging signs at this point.

Sharp (lower body) will be out at least two more games.
EDGE Analysis
There was some hope that Sharp would be able to return against the Blackhawks, his former team, on Friday, but now he'll focus on getting healthy for a home tilt against the Kings on March 15. Sharpie's absence is likely to cause a stir in countless fantasy leagues since he's marked the scoresheet with 17 goals and 30 assists this campaign.

As expected, Sharp (lower body) was inactive Sunday, when the Stars edged the Senators, 2-1. Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News indicated Wednesday that Sharp will miss at least five days, meaning the soonest he'll return will be March 11, a home match with the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
With 17 goals and 30 helpers this campaign, Sharp has already eclipsed his points output of 43 from 2014-15, his last go-around with the Blackhawks before moving over to The Lone Star State in a trade last summer. If he's able to shake off the injury in time to face his former team, the match will be an emotional one for Sharp, as it was with Chicago that he hoisted Lord Stanley on three separate occasions. Fortunately, Sharp hasn't missed a beat in terms of fantasy value despite swapping sweaters. He's generated 19 points on the man advantage and has the luxury of playing on a scoring line with offensive beasts in Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. If Sharp needs more time to heal, Brett Richie should continue filling in. For what it's worth, Sharp is not listed on injured reserve, perhaps hinting that his ailment isn't serious.

Sharp (lower body) has been ruled out for at least the next five days, reports Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News.
EDGE Analysis
Following his 12-game point streak, Sharp has struggled to produce, scoring just a single goal in his last 15 games. His absence will hurt the struggling Stars and will throw some rosters into flux, but maybe a little time away will get him back on track.
