Patrick Kane has three goals and six points in his last four games. Kane is tied with Marian Hossa for the team lead with 21 points in 19 contests. Kane shifted to center this season, but it looks like that hasn't significantly affected his production.

The Chicago Blackhawks begin their annual six-game road trip to Western Canada and California with a game in Vancouver Wednesday night, and team leader Patrick Kane is concerned about how nine new members of the team will handle it. "It's a tough trip," the high-scoring center said. "We have three games and a couple of days off and then three more. In those road trips you kind of wind down by the end of them. You have to stay with it the whole time and really concentrate on hockey and staying focused." The Hawks making this two-week road trip for the first time with the Chicago team are: Daniel Carcillo, Andrew Brunette, Marcus Kruger, Jamal Mayers, Rostislav Olesz, Sean O'Donnell, Steve Montador, Sami Lepisto and goaltender Ray Emery.

Patrick Kane has taken to his position change to center very well. In fact, many in the NHL believe that with the additional puckhandling freedom Kane is getting as a pivot, he is the most exciting player in the league at present. Said current Florida GM and former Hawks GM Dale Tallon: "Can he play center? He sees the ice so well with such brilliant puck skills, it doesn't matter. As a centerman you have to learn the faceoff part and positionally it's a little different defensively. But he has the brains to excel at any position and he's effective there because it gives him more freedom.'' Said former NHL player Bobby Holik of Kane's highlight reel moves: "they make Kane the best street-hockey player on skates.'' If you have Kane enjoy his ascension to superstardom.

Patrick Kane has 25 points in 26 career games against the Nashville Predators. The Chicago Blackhawks' superstar scored two goals and added two assists against the Predators in his team's 5-4 overtime victory in Chicago on Monday night. "We gave him way too much time and space," Predators defenseman Shea Weber said. "Everyone knows how good he is, and we gave him too much time and space. Good players are going to make plays."

He was absolutely everywhere and could not be contained by the Nashville defenders. His playmaking ability is simply a treat to watch. Kane is headed towards a big season and a 90-plus point effort would not surprise up this year.

Patrick Kane has not registered a point in the Blackhawks' last three games. He was doing well as a pivot for the Hawks' first four games, but he seems to be in a bit of a slump at present. Watch this situation carefully, as Chicago coach Joel Quenneville could move him back alongside Jonathan Toews on the team's first unit in a heartbeat.

Patrick Kane has won 56.5% of his 46 faceoff opportunities this season. Of course, the sample size is small, but it's more evidence that Kane's shift from the wing to center is working. The move also hasn't slowed down Kane's offensive production. He's started the season on a four-game point streak with two goals and four assists. It looks like Kane will continue to serve as a center for the foreseeable future.

Patrick Kane has played well since moving this season to center from right wing. Kane has five points in the first three games as a center. "It's still something I'm getting used to," Kane said. "I know I'm not there yet. So far, we're 2-1 so I guess when you're winning you'll keep it the same way." Kane is headed towards a big season and a 90-plus point effort would not surprise up this year.
