Patrick Kane's power-play goal on Sunday snapped Chicago's 0-for-39 slump with the man advantage.
The Blackhawks rank 24th in the league with a 15.9% power-play success rate. They still lost on Sunday, but maybe ending their power-play drought will prove to be the first step towards them turning a corner. Chicago slipped in the standings since the All-Star break and they now have just a five point lead over the ninth place os Angeles Kings.

Patrick Kane scored the only Chicago goal in a 3-1 loss to Anaheim Sunday.
Kane's 14th goal of the season was the only marker for the Blackhawks, who are clearly missing the presence of captain Jonathan Toews.

Patrick Kane served as a center in Chicago's 2-1 victory over Detroit on Tuesday.
Kane made the move because Jonathan Toews is day-to-day with an upper body injury. Once Toews is healthy, Kane will probably shift back to the right wing. Kane has 13 goals and 46 points in 61 games this season.

Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp are expected to play together on the first line Tuesday.
Chicago sometimes likes to divide the trio to balance their top two lines. However the Blackhawks are looking to spark their offense after losing eight straight and being shutout on Saturday against Phoenix.

Patrick Kane's wrist isn't 100% after undergoing surgery on it in July, but he doesn't think that's why his numbers are a bit below his standard.
Kane was expected to at least get a point-per-game this season, but he has 12 goals and 45 points in 56 games. He has a 7.0% shooting percentage, which is the worst of his five-season NHL career. "My shot feels great to be honest with you," Kane said. "My hands and everything still feel the same as they used to. . . . I feel like the game is there, the chances are there, the puck possession is there. I just have to put a few more on the board." Kane did admit that he's had both good and bad days with his wrist and it's something he wants to address over the summer.

Patrick Kane intends to donate the Superman cape and glasses he wore during the NHL All-Star game skills competition to charity.
Good idea. Kane, who has had image problems stemming from a taxi cab incident in his hometown of Buffalo, could use some positive press.

With his goal Friday night, Patrick Kane snapped a seven-game goalless streak.
Kane has been somewhat of a disappointment this season with only 11 goals and 41 points in 48 games. Most fantasy hockey pundits believed this was the year that Kane would bust out and register 90 points. At this pace he will have trouble topping 70. We still love Kane and believe he will put up superstar numbers, but it won't be this season.

Patrick Kane scored his 11th goal and added an assist in the Blackhawks 3-1 win over the Florida Panthers.
Kane hasn't quite met expectations this season, only scoring 41 points in 48 games. That's great for most players, but Kane is paid to put up over a point per game. He's on pace for 70 points, so a hot streak with a few multi-point games could get him to that level. He has mainly been a been a set up guy to Jonathen Toews, Marian Hossa and the injured Patrick Sharp, but he can also give the team 30 goals too. It doesn't look like that is going to happen this season, but he could top 50 assists for the third time in his career.

Patrick Kane is searching for answers as to why he has generated just 10 goals in 44 games this season.
"You're trying a lot of different things," Kane said prior to Chicago's 5-2 win Thursday against Minnesota. "I've talked to some different people to see what they think and I've definitely gotten into the video thing lately. I've watched a lot of different games of myself where I've had chances to see what I can do better. I watched the last game with my dad and we had some good ideas." Kane has found the back of the net just four times in his past 26 games and is currently on pace for a career-low of 18 markers. However, he has still been productive with 38 points and 139 shots, so he's confident that he can turn his fortunes around in the second half.
