Coach Mike Yeo said that he would use the same lineup that defeated Nashville 2-1 in overtime Saturday so it appears that Backstrom will start over Josh Harding. Backstrom is 4-4-1 with a 2.53 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Activate him if he is reserved for tonight.

Niklas Backstrom rebounded from a miserable Thursday night with 26 saves in the Wild's 2-1 overtime win Saturday. Backstrom had lost three straight before tonight, the last of which saw him allow four goals on 16 shots on Thursday night. Owners have to hope this is a sign of things to come and not a blip on the radar.
