Cal Clutterbuck and Jared Spurgeon had the assists, while Matt Cullen had the winner in the shootout.

Mikko Koivu suffered a large gash to his face in the third period on Thursday and did not return. Apparently the skate of linemate Dany Heatley caught Koivu in the chin and Koivu required stitches from the left side of his chin underneath in his neck area all the way to the right side according to Michael Russo of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune. "Scary cut," said coach Mike Yeo. "Scary cut." Koivu should be okay but could miss a game or two but he may jump right back into the lineup as well. Stay tuned.

At least Setoguchi knows that the unit has to play better. "It starts with our line," Setoguchi said. "We were chasing the puck all night, swooping by pucks, not stopping on pucks. We just got away from our game when they started pressing." We expect they will get it together, so be patient.
