Mikko Koivu (leg) skated again on Thursday and is hoping to return to the Minnesota lineup on Koivu is Monday. Koivu has been out since December 14 and has been skating hard of late so his return is imminent. The Wild are 0-4-2 in their last six games so they really miss their captain. He has 28 points in 32 games this season but had been red-hot before the injury with 18 points in 14 games.

Koivu is dealing with a leg injury while Bouchard nearly played on Saturday despite a knee injury.

Mikko Koivu will not play on Saturday due to a leg injury. Koivu might miss more playing time than that, but Wild GM Chuck Fletcher is hopeful that Koivu will return before Christmas. Koivu sustained the injury during Wednesday's game.
