Hoffman (lower body) will not suit up for Friday's tilt against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman will miss his third straight game Friday against Detroit with the lower-body ailment. Hoffman was, however, able to practice Thursday, and reportedly could be ready to return to the Senators' lineup Saturday against Detroit. His availability for Saturday's tilt should be confirmed prior to puck drop Saturday night.

Hoffman (lower body) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Flames, Ian Mendes of TSN 1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman skated with his teammates at practice, but wasn't on a line and has now been confirmed as out. Fortunately, it appears Milan Michalek will likely play for the Senators, giving the club 12 healthy forwards for the contest.

Hoffman (lower body) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Flames, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman missed Saturday's contest against the Coyotes with a lower-body injury, and will likely miss a second game Wednesday against Calgary with the same ailment. He was able to briefly return to the ice for practice Monday, but was forced to leave early, which may indicate he suffered some sort of setback. If he's unable to go Wednesday, his next chance to return to Ottawa's lineup will come Friday against the Red Wings.

Hoffman (lower body) was on the ice for practice Tuesday, but left early, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman missed Saturday's game against the Coyotes because of the issue, but returned to the ice briefly Monday. He did leave practice early, but fortunately for him, the Senators don't play again until Wednesday, giving him time to rest in between games. His progression through practice over the next couple of days should give a better indication of his status heading into the contest.

As expected, Hoffman will miss Saturday's contest due to his lower-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Not a surprise, as Hoffman missed the team's skate earlier in the morning. He's currently considered day-to-day and will have four more days to rest up before the Sens play their next game, a home tilt against the Flames.

Hoffman (lower body) was not on the ice for the Saturday morning skate, Ian Mendes of TSN1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman's absence from the morning skate puts his status for Saturday night's home game against the Coyotes in serious doubt. The skilled winger has been ailing since sustaining the lower-body injury in Thursday's contest. Keep a close eye on his status, as Hoffman is one of the top goal scorers for the 3-2-2 Senators.

Hoffman is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman exited Thursday's game late with the injury, and it appears the issue could carry over beyond that. His status for Saturday's contest remains a bit unclear, but his level of participation in practice over the next couple days should give a better picture on his potential availability.

Hoffman ripped a slap shot past Cory Schneider on the power play for his fourth goal of the season in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman gave Ottawa a 3-2 lead early in the third period on a screamer that got past Schneider because of a nice screen by Alex Chiasson. It was his first PP goal of the season, which surprisingly matches his total from 2014-15. Hoffman should continue to rack up points on the first line with Kyle Turris and Mark Stone.

Hoffman exited Thursday's game late with a "lower-body" injury, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Dave Cameron didn't offer an update on his health following the contest, leaving his status for Saturday's game a bit questionable. However, whether or not he takes part in practice over the next couple day should be a more telling sign on his potential availability for the contest.

Hoffman tallied two goals in regulation in Saturday's shootout loss to the Predators. He also added an assist and finished plus-3 with four shots on net.
EDGE Analysis
He couldn't solve Preds' starter Carter Hutton in the shootout, though, and his team dropped the win. Hoffman has lived up to his breakout potential, at least so far this year -- he has three goals and seven points total in six games this season. Take full advantage.
