Hoffman (lower body) is unlikely to be ready for Friday's matchup with Carolina, but could return Sunday against Florida, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
If he is out of the lineup, Hoffman will miss his second straight contest with this ailment. The winger is averaging 17:10 of ice time per game, which includes 3:10 on the power play where he has tallied 11 goals and six helpers. With the 27-year-old out, the Sens recalled Max McCormick and Casey Bailey from the minors who are both expected to suit up versus the Canes.

Hoffman (groin) will not play Tuesday night against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman was among three Ottawa forwards to sustain an injury in Sunday's game against the Jets -- Mark Stone (neck) and Tommy Wingels (undisclosed) were the others. Ottawa's 17th-ranked power play takes a huge hit without Hoff, who has 11 power-play goals and is tied for fourth in the league with Patrick Eaves of the Stars in said category. Expect Ryan Dzingel to claim the top man-advantage slot at left wing while Hoffman heals.

Hoffman (lower body) joined the team for the beginning of its four-game road trip that begins Tuesday against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Garrioch notes that it doesn't guarantee he or either of the other two injured players from Sunday's contest will play, but it's certainly a good sign for the Senators that he's doing well enough to travel. Another update on his status is expected to surface on gameday, officially providing an outlook for the evening's contest.

Hoffman will not return to Sunday's game against the Jets due to a lower-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman went down the tunnel near the end of the first period and never reemerged. It's not immediately clear what caused the injury, but Hoffman's day is finished after he took just one shot on goal in 5:46 of ice time. The 27-year-old had been riding a two-game point streak coming into Sunday's contest.

Hoffman notched a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- in Thursday's 5-2 road win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
It took Hoffman a bit of time to round into form this year -- he picked up just seven points and a minus-6 rating in his first 16 games -- but since a two-game injury absence in mid-November, he's been as consistent as they come in terms of getting on the scoresheet. Over his last 28 games, Hoffman has a sparkling total of 30 points split evenly between goals and helpers -- including 14 power-play points as well as a plus-14 rating. That's money in the bank for fantasy owners.

Hoffman (illness) will return to the lineup against the Flames on Thursday, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to picking up a bug, Hoffman had been on a tear with seven goals in as many contests, adding a pair of helpers along the way. Of those seven tallies, four came on the power play, where the winger if seeing almost 3:12 of ice time per night. Calgary are giving up 2.84 goals per game, which bodes well for the 27-year-old to continue racking up points.

Hoffman (illness) did not take the ice for pregame warmups, thus ruling him out for Tuesday night's game against Capitals, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hoffman, like many players in the NHL and people across North America, is dealing with a bug of some sort and will next have a chance to suit up Thursday against the Flames. Zack Smith figures to see more playing time while Hoffman remains sidelined.

Hoffman missed morning skate due to an illness, and will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against Washington, TSN's Brent Wallace reports.
EDGE Analysis
It'd be a huge loss for the Senators and fantasy owners alike if Hoffman is unable to go, as the Canadian winger has been red-hot of late, racking up 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in his last 12 games. If Hoffman isn't able to play Tuesday, Zack Smith may get an opportunity to slide into a top-six role against the Capitals.

Hoffman scored a pair of goals for the second time this week in a 7-6 defeat against the Blue Jackets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old continues to trend upwards, as he has six goals in his last six games. He has 17 goals in 41 contests, which puts him ahead of last season's pace where he scored 29 times in 78 games. With already more penalty minutes and power-play points than last season, Hoffman is set to turn in his best fantasy season yet.

Hoffman scored a power-play goal in the second period and the game-winning goal in the third frame of Tuesday's 6-4 win over St. Louis, finishing plus-3 with five shots.
EDGE Analysis
He just continues trending upward along with fellow sniper Mark Stone. Hoffman's got a four-game point streak going (four goals, two helpers and a plus-6 rating), and he's on pace for a point total in the mid-60s. It seems quite reasonable to expect he'll at least end up matching last year's 59 points, and he already has more power play points (14) than he notched last year (13) -- in 40 fewer games.
