Updating an earlier report, Raffl left Saturday's game after collapsing while seated on the Flyers' bench, reports Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly. Raffl had skated to the bench under his own power after taking an accidental elbow to the face at the end of his shift.
EDGE Analysis
He got to the bench as the Rangers began a power play, but six seconds in, his teammates on the bench started banging their sticks to get play halted so their injured mate could get medical attention. Raffl was helped up the tunnel to the dressing room; no further updates on his condition are available.

Raffl was assisted to the locker room after taking an elbow to the head from a Rangers player, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raffl had to be carried off the ice during Saturday's game after apparently suffering some sort of head injury. More information regarding the severity of the injury should be available in the following days, but judging by the concern of both benches during the game, the injury does not appear to be good.

Head coach Dave Hakstol told reporters Tuesday that Raffl's undisclosed injury isn't serious, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hakstol also told reporters that he expects Raffl to be ready for the Flyers' Oct. 8 regular season opener. The 26-year-old winger registered 28 points (21 goals, seven assists) in 67 games with Philadelphia last season, and will likely return to a top-six role with the team in 2015-16.

With a marker in Saturday's loss to the Sharks, Raffl has scored a goal in three straight games and four of his last five contests. Raffl has certainly made the most of his opportunity to skate next to Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux, and figures to be deployed on the top line for the remainder of the season. With 20 goals in his 61 games, Raffl has more than doubled his total (nine) in the category from 2013-14.

Raffl scored a shorthanded goal in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Devils. Raffl has been on an impressive scoring streak, picking up points (including three goals) in his last five games. The 26-year-old has also suffered through cold spells throughout the season, so he's at just 22 points -- matching last season's total -- in 52 games.

Raffl scored his 14th goal of the season and added an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Rangers. Raffl broke a six-game drought, one of many such pointless streaks he's endured this season. His inconsistency makes him a liability in all but the deepest leagues.

Raffl picked up the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Sabres. It was Raffl's first game since Jan. 20 as he had been dealing with a bout of pneumonia. His scoring is up from last year, but with a shooting percentage of 16.8 much of that could be accounted for by good puck luck.

Raffl (illness) participated in Thursday's practice, Frank Seravalli of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.Though he took part in line rushes with the Flyers during the session, Raffl will not be a lineup option for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets, as the team wants to give him more time to recover from the bout with pneumonia. The Flyers initially projected Raffl to miss the entirety of their current four-game road swing, but if the winger continues to progress well in practices the next couple of days, he could be an option for the final game of the trip Sunday in Buffalo.
