Frolik recorded two assists with two shots on net and a minor penalty during Friday's win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
While Frolik will never be a go-to fantasy assets, he has shown the ability to provide sneaky multi-category production for stretches. He's notched seven goals, 20 points and 72 shots with 24 PIM and a plus-10 rating over his past 27 games, after all. The veteran winger is a worth considering in deeper seasonal leagues, and he has contrarian upside in daily contests when Calgary draws a favorable opponent.

Frolik has 29 points in 53 games in his second season as a member of the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik is three points shy of the 32 he put up in his Cow Town debut last year and is on an 82-game pace of 45. The 28-year-old also has five power-play points -- four more than 2015-16 -- and will easily surpass his hit, blocked shot, shots on goal and PIM totals as well, which gives him tangible value in medium to deeper settings.

Frolik scored a pair of goals on three shots in a 4-2 defeat against the Canucks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old has been able to carry his hot end of December into January. He has three goals and eight points in the last six games. This streak snapped a 14-game stretch where he registered just one assist. Frolik hasn't scored at least 20 goals since his second season in 2009-10, but he's just off that pace in 2016-17 with nine goals in the first 41 contests.

Frolik recorded a pair of power-play points, a goal and an assist, in a 4-2 win over the Coyotes on New Year's Eve.
EDGE Analysis
Although he does have three shorthanded points, those were his first two power-play points of the season. Frolik snapped a nine-game point drought on Dec. 23, and since then, he has a goal and six points in four games. He's begun 62.1 percent of his shifts in the defensive zone, so his role isn't conducive to produce much offense, but feel free to ride the mini hot streak in larger leagues.

Frolik ended a nine-game point drought with two assists during Friday's win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
The helpers improved Frolik's stat line to six goals and 17 points for the campaign, which is respectable production, but hardly makes a fantasy dent. Additionally, Frolik entered Friday's game beginning 61.5 percent of his shifts in the defensive zone and averaging just 23 seconds of power-play time. With his role not conducive to offensive production, he's likely best left to the waiver wire in the majority of fantasy settings.

Frolik helped out on teammate Matt Stajan's goal in Wednesday's win against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik is having a solid season offensively (six goals, nine assists), and is on pace to match his NHL career high in assists (27). Last season, the 28-year-old recorded 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists) in an injury-reduced 64 games.

Frolik assisted on Matt Tkachuk's game-tying goal in the third period and scored the game-winner in overtime to deliver a 2-1 win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
A neutral-zone misplay by the Coyotes led to a takeaway by the hard-working Frolik, who then was off to the races and snapped the puck over Mike Smith's glove for the OT winner. Never a very highly regarded scorer, Frolik has 12 points in 18 games this year -- easily good for the finest rate of his career. That said, his ice time is nearly identical to last year's and he's seeing almost no action on the power play, so it's hard to see the 28-year-old winger keeping up this pace.

Frolik notched a pair of assists and five shots on goal in Thursday's win over San Jose, pushing his point streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
He's accumulated five points and a plus-5 rating over that stretch. Frolik's been surprisingly productive for a Calgary forward crew that's hurting for offense on its front end, tallying nine points in 12 games. However, his stats will probably soon regress to their typical point-every-other-game level as the sample size increases and his career-high 17.2 shooting percentage normalizes.

Frolik is projected to play on the top line with Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan in Saturday's game against the Blues, the Calgary Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
As is so often the case with the league's best scoring duos, the right wing slot has been a revolving door this season next to fantasy stars Monahan and Gaudreau. Through five games, the Flames have tried Kris Versteeg, Troy Brouwer, Alex Chiasson, rookie Matthew Tkachuk and even fourth-line energy guy Michael Ferland for a couple shifts. It appears Frolik will be next to line up with No. 23 and No. 13, which makes sense given his three goals and 10 shots on net this season. Furthermore, the Czech is an eight-year NHL veteran with four 40-plus-point campaigns to his name, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do in a plum role on Calgary's top line.

Frolik lit the lamp in Tuesday's overtime victory over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
That's three goals in four contests for the second-year Flame. Frolik is off to a great start this season after a solid debut in Calgary that featured a scoring rate of 0.5 points per game (32 in 64 contests), and even though he's currently stuck in the bottom six, his center Mikael Backlund is no slouch (47 points last year). In fact, Backlund already has four points of his own, so these two could make for sneaky value plays in daily contests while they're producing.
