Fraser has been traded to the Blackhawks along with Andrew Ladd and Jay Harrison, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
As noted by TSN's Darren Dreger, the Jets will receive center Marko Dano, a first-round draft pick in 2016, and a conditional draft pick. This is a very nice deal for the Blackhawks, and the addition of Fraser provides the defending champs with a hard-working depth forward capable of playing on the left or right wing. He's played in 87 NHL games since entering with the Stars in 2011-12, but the Jets didn't use the undrafted Fraser outside of 44 games with minor-league affiliate Manitoba, pitching in five goals and nine assists in 44 games.

Fraser signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets on Thursday, Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Fraser managed to stick around in the NHL all season with the Bruins and Oilers, but after providing only eight goals and 12 points in 60 games, Edmonton declined to tender him a contract earlier this week. He'll stick around in Canada and compete for a fourth-line role with the Jets in training camp, though the two-way nature of his contract may make him susceptible to an assignment to AHL St. John's.

Fraser wasn't tendered a qualifying offer Monday by the Oilers, meaning he'll become an unrestricted free agent, Jason Gregor of the Edmonton Journal reports. Fraser split the 2014-15 season between the Bruins and Oilers, with the latter team claiming him off waivers in December. The winger ended up supplying eight goals and 12 points across 60 games, but even with a team like Edmonton where ice time was more readily available, he failed to make enough of an impact to guarantee his place in the lineup on a nightly basis. Fraser will most likely have to settle for a two-way deal this offseason.

Fraser scored the game's first goal and added an empty-netter with two seconds remaining Tuesday against Los Angeles. A nice little game for Fraser, but considering that his last points came way back on Jan. 29 against Buffalo -- a three-point explosion, that -- he can safely be written off for fantasy purposes in the vast majority of formats.

Fraser (concussion) will return to the lineup Friday against the Stars. Fraser has missed the Oilers' previous four games with the concussion, which he suffered on a hit to the head from the Leafs' Nazem Kadri in a March 17 contest. Fittingly, Kadri was handed a four-game suspension for that hit, and now Fraser will rejoin the lineup after an absence of the same length. The winger is projected to skate on the Oilers' fourth line Friday alongside Luke Gazdic and Rob Klinkhammer.

Fraser (concussion) will be a scratch Wednesday against the Avalanche. Fraser has been cleared by doctors to play, but the team will sit him out at least one more contest nonetheless. His next chance to take the ice will be Thursday against the Canucks.

Fraser (concussion) was cleared to play Tuesday by team doctors, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. With Fraser passing through all stages of the NHL's concussion protocol, he's now be available for Wednesday's game against the Avalanche, though it's unclear at this juncture if coach Todd Nelson plans on using the forward. Fraser, who missed the last three games with the head injury, has tallied six goals and 10 points over 52 games between the Oilers and Bruins this season.

Fraser (concussion) skated on his own prior to Friday's practice. Fraser was diagnosed with a concussion after taking a hit to the head in Monday's win over the Maple Leafs, earning Toronto's Nazem Kadri a four-game suspension. It appears that Fraser, who has already missed one game due to the concussion, could be in store for a similar length of absence or beyond, though his presence on the ice Friday is a good sign. Fraser still remains under the concussion protocol and hasn't been cleared to take contact yet, so he should be viewed as out indefinitely until he's able to practice with his teammates again.

Fraser was officially diagnosed with a concussion after taking a blow to the head from the Maple Leafs' Nazem Kadri during Monday's game, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Fraser should be viewed as out indefinitely until he resumes taking part in full-contact practices with the team. It sounds like the Oilers will recall Andrew Miller from AHL Oklahoma City to cover for Fraser's expected multi-game absence.

Fraser, who took a hit to the head during Monday's game against Toronto, did not participate in Tuesday's practice, Chris Wescott of edmontonoilers.com reports. Fraser took an illegal hit from Toronto's Nazem Kadri, who is scheduled to meet with the NHL on Wednesday. Fraser may have suffered a concussion, in which case he'd almost certainly miss Wednesday's game against Columbus.
