Fraser will be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against the Islanders, Bob Stauffer of 630 CHED reports. The newly-recalled Ryan Hamilton will assume Fraser's spot in the lineup. Fraser was a driving force behind the Edmonton offense Thursday, scoring a goal and assisting on the other two in a 3-2 win over Buffalo. The Bruins dumped Fraser with a stat line of three goals and no assists in 24 games; he's now matched that goal total and more than doubled the point total in just 12 games as an Oiler, and he even has a plus-3 rating after going, well, plus-3 on Thursday. With five points in his last four games, Fraser merits a look in deep formats.

Fraser found the net on his lone shot attempt in Sunday's victory over the Islanders. After being let go by the Bruins last week, Fraser has already tallied two goals over four games with his new team. The plus/minus drag he'll notice while playing for Edmonton is probably too significant to give him much fantasy value, but he looks to be a noticeable upgrade for the Oilers on their third line.

The Oilers claimed Fraser off waivers from the Bruins on Monday. The winger had three goals and a minus-5 rating through 24 games with the Bruins, and will likely play a depth role with the Oilers as well.

Fraser has been placed on waivers by the Bruins, csnne.com reports. If he goes unclaimed, Fraser -- who has scored three goals in 24 games for the Bruins to date -- would be in line to be assigned to AHL Providence.

Fraser was a healthy scratch Monday against the Penguins, ESPN.com reports. Fraser checks in with three goals in 14 games thus far, and while he figures to rejoin the B's lineup before long, he's off the fantasy radar until he is able to generate consistent production.

Fraser scored his first two goals of the season 1:28 apart in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Senators. The second one was the game winner. The first came on a rebound; the second was a high wrister. He had just two goals in 14 games last season and this effort came in his fifth this season. He's never going to be an offensive stud, but he may have deep league value some day. Just not this year.

Fraser was not present for warmups in advance of Monday's game against the Avs. With the B's coming off a 4-0 blanking at the hands of Washington on Saturday, the team's lines have a new look on Monday, with Fraser on track to sit out the contest.

Fraser remains on the Bruins' roster in advance of Wednesday's season opener against the Flyers. Fraser figures to work as a winger on the Bruins' third line out of the gate, though if he does get bumped up a peg at any point, he could merit fantasy attention, given that the 24-year-old has displayed a goal-scoring knack at the AHL level.
