Dumba set a Wild record for a defenseman with nine shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
His game has been a bit slow to develop, but he is firing pucks and at this rate, Dumba could ring up 150 over the season. He still won't crack the 30-point plateau, so his real value lies a couple years in the future.

Dumba scored his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's win over Colorado and was a plus-1 in 15:39 of ice time.
EDGE Analysis
After an 11-game stretch where he scored just one point, Dumba has scored in back-to-back games and has also drawn praise from head coach Mike Yeo for his defense.

Dumba sent a laser past James Reimer on the power play Thursday to give the Wild a 1-0 win against the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba got a nice feed from Jared Spurgeon to set up the one-timer that Reimer had no chance of stopping. He still isn't getting enough playing time to warrant a waiver claim, but Dumba has been decent on the man advantage when given the opportunity.

Dumba scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba had just three seconds of time on the power play, so he hasn't returned to special teams after being removed from the power play unit Thursday. He had a block and was plus-one, so he could find a larger role again if his defense improves.

Dumba was taken off the power play in Thursday's win over Columbus. He did not score but head coach Mike Yeo said he improved on defense after struggling the past few games, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba is off to a slow start with just one assist in six games and is minus-two in plus/minus. It's not clear if his removal from the power play is permanent, but he'll most likely return once he gets out of the coach's dog house for poor defensive play.

Dumba picked up an assist and blocked three shots in Thursday's Opening Night win.
EDGE Analysis
The No. 7 overall pick in 2012, Dumba played well in his first action of 2015-16. He picked up the secondary assist on the goal that sparked the Wild's comeback in the third period. Dumba also saw limited power play time and his pedigree makes him someone to keep an eye on if you're looking for potential blue line sleepers.

Dumba was superb in Sunday's 8-1 victory over the Jets, notching a plus-6 rating with two goals and two assists.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba and team ignited the home crowd at the expensive of Jets goalies Michael Hutchinson and Connor Hellebuyck, a pair that combined for just 10 saves on 18 shots. Taken seventh overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Dumba packs a booming shot and carries plenty of upside as a well-rounded defenseman already with playoff experience from this past season. With more coaching on how to shut down the opposition, Dumba could wind up on a top defensive unit in 2015-16.

Dumba picked up his first multi-point game of the playoffs Thursday in Game 4 against Chicago, dishing out two assists, but it wasn't enough in a season-ending 4-3 loss.
It's a case of too little, too late for Dumba, who had his best game of the playoffs, including firing five shots -- that's one more than he had in the prior six games combined. He finishes the playoffs with just four points (two goals, two assists) in 10 games, but the 20-year-old Dumba has a world of upside, and his playoff experience will serve him well going forward.

Dumba potted a power-play goal in his NHL playoff debut Thursday against the Blues.
Dumba had an inconsistent offensive season, and he only skated 11:32 in Thursday's game, with Jonas Brodin and Ryan Suter sucking up a lot of the ice time. He's got great long-term upside, but expectations should be low in these playoffs.

Dumba had the primary assist on both Minnesota goals in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.
A very active game for Dumba, who pinched into the offensive zone frequently and aggressively. He's been a more frequent scoreboard presence of late, with five points in his last eight games. All in all, Dumba looks like he's got all the goods for a big breakout next year.
