Stone delivered two goals -- including one on the man advantage -- Monday night in a 5-1 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Stone sank both goals in the second period, bringing his tally to 16 on the season. The 23-year-old has been an offensive dynamo with three two-point efforts over the last five contests. Stone's minus-10 rating on the season hurts, but he's seemingly doing all that he can to help the Sens rack up wins in a competitive Atlantic Division that has the Maple Leafs as the only team with a losing record (19-23-9).

Stone snapped an eight-game pointless slump Tuesday against the Penguins, notching a goal and an assist for his first points since Jan. 9. He also went plus-2 and added four hits.
EDGE Analysis
Now that's more like the Stone we know and love, although the goal still came on his only shot of the game. Stone didn't put the puck on net enough last year, and his shot rate's actually dropped this season -- including just nine shots over that eight-game slump. That still needs correcting, but either way, the All-Star break seems to have given him a nice little recharge.

Stone scored 4:22 into overtime to lift the Senators to a 2-1 win over the Bruins on Saturday night. He picked up his own rebound and put it over a sprawling Tuukka Rask after being stopped on a wraparound.
EDGE Analysis
It was Stone's first goal in six games and is just his 11th on the season. It's not that far off his pace of last season (26 goals, 64 points in 80 games), but fantasy owners -- as always -- expected more. We are disappointed with his minus -9 rating -- it's a far cry from last season's plus-21. There's still time for Stone to salvage that category at least a little. But you might be able to use that minus-9 rating to twist him away from his current owner in a trade. Keeper owners should weigh that option -- he's a sophomore whose performance hasn't dropped, so next season could deliver a nice jump in output.

Stone found the back of the net twice Sunday against Boston, including one on the power play.
EDGE Analysis
Stone is averaging over three minutes per game of ice time with the man advantage, grabbing his third goal with the extra attacker on Sunday. The 23-year-old now has nine multi-point games this season, scoring 10 points in 13 December games. The winger will hope to keep his scoring streak alive in the second half of a home and away series against Boston on Tuesday.

Stone dished out three assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Stone's two third period assists helped the Sens complete a comeback on the road against the division rival Panthers. He now has seven goals and 19 assists in 26 games on the season, putting him at a point-per-game pace.

Stone busted his slump Tuesday in Dallas, scoring an unassisted goal to go with two helpers -- one on the power play -- in a 7-4 victory.
EDGE Analysis
A 64-point man last season, Stone got off to a rip-roaring start before a two-game suspension derailed him -- he had no goals and just three points in seven games since the ban, including just one point in the last five games coming into Tuesday. But you can't keep a talent like Stone down for long, a point he illustrated beautifully by taking the puck away on a clearing attempt by the Stars, then skating into the high slot and ripping a puck past Antti Niemi for his first goal of November.

Stone has no goals, three assists, and a minus-5 rating in six games upon returning from a suspension Nov. 7.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old winger was averaging more than a point per game prior to serving his two-game suspension. Head coach Dave Cameron has promoted the surging Bobby Ryan to the first line and has demoted Stone to Ryan's former spot on the second line. The Senators, and fantasy owners alike, must be frustrated and perplexed by the abysmal production of Stone, who racked up 64 points in the 2014-15 season. While the right winger is slumping lately, it is way too early to give up on the powerful skater who possesses slick stickhandling and strong shooting skills. Consider his gun temporarily jammed.

Stone will return to action Saturday against the Hurricanes after serving a two-game suspension for his hit on Detroit's Landon Ferraro in last Saturday's tilt against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Stone, who has tallied an impressive 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in just 11 games this season, is expected to return to his role skating alongside Shane Prince and Kyle Turris on Ottawa's top line in Saturday's contest.

Stone was suspended two games for an illegal check in Saturday's game.
EDGE Analysis
The news comes as a bit of a surprise as Stone hasn't had any history in this regard, but barring an appeal, he won't be able to suit up until Saturday's game against the Hurricanes after a check to the head of the Red Wings' Landon Ferraro. The 23-year-old had gotten off to a great start, notching 13 points through 11 contests.

Stone scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's loss to the Red Wings. The points extended his point streak to four games and five points (one goal, four assists).
EDGE Analysis
Is this for real? Stone has 13 points in 11 games, which puts him ahead of his 64-point pace from last season AND into the league's top scorers. There is no sophomore slump for this talented winger, although he is picking up more helpers than goals. That changes his value in some formats, but it might rebalance over the coming weeks.
