Stone notched an assist and two hits during Tuesday's 3-0 win against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
In a surprising move, coach Guy Boucher pushed Stone down to the third line, foreign territory for the winger. The 24-year-old proceeded to answer the call to pick up his fourth helper of the year, but it remains to be seen if he'll stay in the bottom six. It's a development to keep an eye on, as Stone was on ice for 15:55, his second-lowest total of the year. Fresh off back-to-back 60-point campaigns, coach Boucher will find it hard-pressed to keep the winger in a lesser role than usual.

Stone scored his first goal of the year -- which ultimately held up as the game-winner -- and added an assist in Tuesday's 7-4 victory over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
He got held scoreless twice -- with only a single shot on goal to show for it -- in between his two-assist opening night and Tuesday's game, but Stone is coming off consecutive seasons of 60-plus points and is once again in prime position within Ottawa's top six alongside Kyle Turris and Mike Hoffman. That trio should produce a cornucopia of points for fantasy owners, as it did in this one.

Stone registered two assists during Wednesday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Stone was able to get one preseason contest under his belt before Opening Night, as the winger suffered a concussion that cost him several games of preparation. Even still, the 24-year-old didn't show any ill effects and came on late to help the Sens steal a win that will be overshadowed by Auston Matthew's four goals in his NHL debut. Heading into his fifth year, Stone has dropped 60-plus points in two straight campaigns and looks primed to do the same in 2016-17.

Stone (concussion) returned to action for Friday's exhibition, recording four shots on goal in 18:12 of ice time during a 4-2 loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Stone passed his baseline test and showed no ill effects, skating just below his expected ice time for 2016-17. The 24-year-old is a welcomed addition to the top line next to Kyle Turris and Mike Hoffman, a combination that could prove to be explosive this season. The winger dropped 61 points in his last campaign and will look to start off on the right foot come Opening Night.

Stone (concussion) could be cleared as early as tomorrow, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The winger needs to pass his baseline test, and once he does, he's a go. Stone hasn't seen the ice in the preseason, and while it would be nice to see him skate to knock off the rust, it's very possible he's held out until Opening Night. Keep an eye out for clearance Friday.

Stone (concussion) won't be available for the team's next two preseason games, Brent Wallace of TSN Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stone has yet to pass the baseline test required for him to return to game action but he did skate with the team at practice Friday. The star winger hopes to rejoin the lineup for Ottawa's final preseason game Oct. 7 against the Sabres but this situation should be monitored by owners and prospective owners as the regular season draws closer.

Stone (concussion) practiced with the Sens on Friday and hopes to play in Tuesday's preseason contest against Toronto, Ken Warren of the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stone practicing has him trending in the right direction, but the winger still needs to pass a baseline test before returning to the ice for the Senators. The 24-year-old had his season cut short by an upper-body injury in 2015-16, but seems to be progressing well after taking a licking from Buddy Robinson. Once he's back, the winger steps in right next to Kyle Turris and Mike Hoffman, which could make for a lethal top line for Ottawa. Stone should have no issues reaching 60-plus points for a third straight season.

Stone (concussion) resumed skating Tuesday, per Senators coach Guy Boucher, Ian Mendes of TSN1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's an encouraging sign that Stone is back out on the ice. As recently as last Saturday, the Senators announced that the savvy winger is concussed and would be evaluated on a daily basis. Look out for further updates on the 24-year-old as he rounds out his recovery.

Stone is dealing with a concussion, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not clear when Stone sustained the ailment, but the report notes that he'll be evaluated on a daily basis. The 24-year-old winger has been quite the find for the Sens. Despite getting selected as late as the sixth round (178th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, he's managed to amass 125 points over the past two seasons along with a spot on the first power-play unit.

Stone's 2015-16 campaign ended with 23 goals, 38 helpers and 38 PIM in 75 games.
EDGE Analysis
Stone suffered an upper-body injury that essentially ended his season early, although the Sens were not battling for a playoff spot at that point. Even with the late absence, the 23-year-old notched his second straight 60-point campaign, and finished just shy of setting a new career-high assist total (he tied the mark). The winger jumped from 17:01 to 20:07 of ice time, and should remain an excellent asset for fantasy owners next season with added opportunity. Deemed healthy, Stone will now set his sights on leading Team Canada to a world championship in May.
