Scheifele (upper body) is considered doubtful for Thursday's game against New Jersey, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele suffered his upper-body injury during Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Rangers, and although it's not believed to be overly serious, it will likely keep him sidelined for at least one contest. An official update on his condition is expected to be released Thursday, so a more definite timetable for his recovery should be established then.

Scheifele (upper body) left Tuesday's game against the Rangers and won't return.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele is in his second straight season averaging above a point-per-game pace (51 points, 49 games). The Jets recently added center depth with the acquisition of Paul Stastny from the Blues, so they should be able to absorb a brief absence of Scheifele, but a long-term injury would become an issue when playoffs roll around. The Jets don't play again until Thursday versus the Flyers, so expect an update after Tuesday's game or during Wednesday's morning skate.

Scheifele scored two goals, one on the power play, while adding four shots, four PIM, one hit and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
He's been on fire since returning to the ice from an upper-body injury Feb. 9, piling up six goals and 13 points in nine games. Despite his lengthy absence, Scheifele is still scoring at better than a point-a-game pace for the second straight season, and he should continue putting up strong numbers as he leads the jets towards a playoff berth.

Scheifele recorded two assists during Friday's 4-0 win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
This multi-point showing gives Scheifele three goals and 10 points through seven games since returning from an upper-body injury Feb. 9. He's following up last season's point-per-game showing in style, and it's encouraging to see his chemistry with wingers Blake Wheeler and Kyle Connor continuing. The trio has now clicked for an impressive 4.3 goals per 60 minutes this season.

Scheifele was named the NHL Third Star of the Week.
EDGE Analysis
Since returning from a 16-game absence, Scheifele has looked unstoppable with three goals, five helpers and a plus-7 rating in his last five outings. The only part of his game that doesn't seem to have come back yet is his power-play production, where the center has just one point so far. With the Ontario native firing on all cylinders, the Jets may be one of the most dangerous teams in the Western Conference come playoffs.

Scheifele fueled his team with three assists, helping his squat post a 6-1 decision over Colorado on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele has been excellent when healthy, and he appears to be at full strength now after six points in just his past two contests. His scoring is just above a point per game, (45 points in 42 games) and if he's on the ice, he should be in your lineup in all formats.

Scheifele racked up three points, including scoring the game-tying goal in the final seconds of regulation in Tuesday's overtime win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele's incredible night included opening the scoring, scoring shorthanded with 15 seconds remaining to tie the game 3-3 and then setting up Tyler Myers for the overtime winner. His first-period goal was his first goal in three games since missing 16 with an upper-body injury. He got on the scoresheet in his last outing against the Rangers and is now up to 17 goals and 42 points in 41 games. The 24-year-old is back to full health, so make sure you get him back in your lineup, as he's picking up right where he left off.

Scheifele (upper body) will be back in action against the Blues on Friday, Mike Sawatzky of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele slots back into the lineup following a 16-game stint on injured reserve due to his upper-body malady. With the center healthy, Blake Wheeler figures to head back to the wing position on the top line along with Patrik Laine. Prior to getting hurt, the 24-year-old Scheifele was bogged down in a scoring slump, as he tallied a mere one goal and three helpers in his previous 11 outings. In order to suit up, the Ontario native will need to be activated off injured reserve, which will force the Jets to either place Michael Hutchinson (concussion) on IR or demote a player to the minors.

Scheifele (upper body) is on pace to rejoin the lineup for Friday's game against the Coyotes, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele has already been ruled out of Tuesday's affair, but a visit with the doctor on Monday confirmed he's doing well in his recovery. An official activation from injured reserve will be required ahead of his return. Scheifele's progress throughout the week will still likely play a role, but the early-week progress report is certainly slanted in a positive direction.

Scheifele (upper body) hit the ice without a non-contact sweater Monday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Scheifele won't play against the Coyotes on Tuesday, his full participation in practice opens the door for him to suit up for Friday's clash with St. Louis. Getting the gifted center back would be a boon for the Jets, as they have been hard hit by the injury bug of late. Once given the all-clear, the 24-year-old figures to retake the top-line center role, which should allow Blake Wheeler to move back to the wing.
