Gaborik (knee) skated on his own Wednesday, his first time since being injured Feb. 12, LA Kings Insider Jon Rosen reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was previously expected that Gaborik had a chance to return before the conclusion of the regular season, though that possibility now seems highly unlikely. Head coach Darryl Sutter wouldn't commit to a timeline for Gaborik's return, casting doubt on the three-time 40-goal scorer's chances of being ready to go for the start of the postseason. As Gaborik continues to skate and rehabilitate, expect more detailed updates from the team on his status.

Gaborik (knee), who was originally expected to be sidelined until the start of the playoffs, could be back at the end of the regular season if things go well, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik was originally given a 10-to-12 week recovery period which would have put him returning towards the end of April but that may have been accelerated slightly as Gaborik eyes a return towards mid-April in a best case scenario.

Gaborik (knee) is expected to be out of action "long-term, for sure" and may be sidelined until the playoffs, the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik suffered the injury in a knee-on-knee collision Friday and Monday's follow-up evaluation revealed the extent of the damage. He had struggled at times this season with just 12 goals in 54 games but had picked up the pace recently with four goals in his last seven games but don't expect him back any time soon.

Gaborik (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik is on his way back to Los Angeles, where he'll undergo further evaluation for the lower-body injury he sustained in Friday evening's tilt against the Rangers. The 33-year-old winger will now at least miss the Kings' next three games, and could be out even longer, depending on what his evaluation reveals. Expect an update on Gaborik's status following his meeting with Los Angeles' medical staff.

Gaborik, who sustained a lower-body injury Friday against the Rangers, will travel back to Los Angeles to undergo further evaluation, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik is no stranger to the injury bug, having played out the full 82-game schedule just once in his 14-year career, having done so as a member of the Rangers in 2011-12. We won't jump to conclusions regarding the severity of the injury -- that likely will be determined upon his next evaluation -- but his general inability to find the scoresheet with much consistency this season could be exacerbated by an injury setback. Since Gaborik didn't travel with the team, It's a foregone conclusion that he'll be out Sunday against the Devils.

Gaborik (lower-body) is not expected to return to Friday's game against the Rangers, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik had to be helped to the locker room after suffering an apparent lower-body injury in the first period of Friday's contest. The former first-round pick was having a fantastic outing before going down with the injury, tallying a goal and two shots on net in just 3:31 of ice time. Expect an update on the 33-year-old winger's status ahead of Sunday's matchup with New Jersey.

Gaborik contributed a goal and an assist Tuesday night, helping the Kings squash the Bruins, 9-2.
EDGE Analysis
Working behind the net, Vincent Lecavalier scooped the puck toward Gaborik, who was positioned perfectly for his 11th goal of the season. Gabby is picking up the pace of late with three goals in the past five games, upping his shooting percentage to 7.9, which remains unsightly for a forward. Worse yet, he's been limited to 1:50 of power-play ice time this campaign after skating for 2:45 on the man advantage in 2014-15. Gaborik is ranked seventh on his own team with 21 points in 52 games.

Gaborik scored the overtime winning goal Sunday against the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a perfect snipe from Gaborik, who beat Martin Jones on a breakaway. It was the first goal in 11 games for the 33-year-old, as Gaborik has struggled with inconsistency this season, managing just nine goals and 18 points in 48 games. He's fired 128 shots on goal and is skating on the top line, but Gaborik has gone through too many cold stretches this season to be fully trusted in anything but deep leagues.

Gaborik scored his eighth goal of the season and dished out an assist in Thursday's win over Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik has managed only 15 points (eight goals) in 37 games this season. The sniper logged just 12:59 of ice time Thursday and has struggled with consistency this year. Still, the 33-year-old is a proven scorer on a surging Kings team, so considering the fact he's got three goals and six points in his last nine games, Gaborik is worth looking at if he's available in deeper formats.

Gaborik scored an empty-net goal and garnered an assist against Montreal on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik has been off to a slow start this season compared to his 47 point 2014-15 season. This year, the 33-year-old has just 12 points in 31 games. Despite averaging almost two minutes of power-play ice time per game on the Kings' second unit, the winger has just one point with the extra attacker.
