Gaborik recorded a goal, three shots on net and a minor penalty with a plus-2 rating during Wednesday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
With five goals, nine points, 33 shots and a plus-6 rating through his past 12 games, Gaborik is rounding into fantasy form. The veteran is well past his prime but still offers enough scoring upside to warrant attention in plenty of seasonal settings. Additionally, he's currently presenting nice value is daily contests.

Gaborik dished out two helpers Thursday against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik assisted on goals by Trevor Lewis and Jake Muzzin in what was an easy 5-1 win. The 34-year-old forward was awfully quiet besides that, though, skating just 13:24 without a shot. He has a mere seven points in 20 games.

Gaborik, who has just one goal in his last 12 games, skated on the team's top line during Tuesday's practice, the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Before you get too excited it should be noted that his two linemates, Anze Kopitar (three goals in 29 games) and Dustin Brown (four goals in 32 games), are both mired in scoring slumps of their own but the Kings are hoping the veteran trio can hep spark on another.

Gaborik will be a healthy scratch Sunday against the Bruins, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik is an odd exclusion from Sunday's lineup, but it appears to be just a coach's decision for the contest. The veteran winger's next chance to play would then come Tuesday when the Kings travel to Columbus.

Gaborik scored his first goal since Feb. 12 in Saturday's 4-1 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik missed the final two months of last season and the first six weeks of this one with injuries. The snipe Saturday was a wicked shot on the power play. Gaborik has four points in his last five games. Check your wire -- he might be lurking there.

Gaborik (foot) took the ice for pre-game warmups and will be active for Saturday's matchup with the Blackhawks, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik had been a game-time decision after being activated from IR on Saturday, but there remains little question that the right winger is game-ready now. The 34-year-old will likely be worked into the rotation slowly as he's been out of game action for nine weeks since breaking his foot during the World Cup of Hockey, but there's no question the Czech can produce points in bunches as he's tallied 69 over his last two seasons with the Kings.

Gaborik (foot) was activated from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's game against the Blackhawks, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik's status for the upcoming contest reportedly will be decided in pregame warm-ups. Of course, even if he plays, that nine-week layoff since his last game in the World Cup of Hockey likely means the veteran has some rust to shake off. It's best to take a wait-and-see approach with the oft-injured Czech.

Gaborik (foot) said he plans to play Saturday against the visiting Blackhawks, the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whenever a player says he's ready to go, it must be taken with a grain of salt. Coach Darryl Sutter would not confirm that the veteran will be suiting up in the next contest, but did say, "We'll talk to him in the morning. He thinks he's ready to play. We'll just make a decision on the lineup. I'm not sure." As noted in the report, it's been nine weeks since Gaborik has played (he injured his foot with Team Europe at the World Cup of Hockey), and the Kings reportedly won't decide on his availability for the next contest until seeing how he fares in the next morning skate.

Gaborik (foot) will not be available Wednesday against the Islanders, LA Kings Insider Jon Rosen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik, who was injured during the World Cup of Hockey, seems to be close to returning to the lineup and has not been ruled out Saturday. Once healthy, the veteran figures to slide back up to the Kings' top line as well as taking over his usual spot on the power play. 2015-16 was a down year for the winger, but he remains one of the top players in the league.

Gaborik (foot) skated once again Wednesday, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gaborik has missed all of the 2016-17 campaign due to a broken foot sustained during the World Cup of Hockey but has made strides in his rehab in recent weeks. The 34-year-old stated, "this is kind of the first skate where I pushed it, and it feels pretty good." While there's still no official timetable for the right winger's return, it's clear that the Czech is heading in the right direction with his rehab and his season debut should not be too far off.
