Gaborik (knee) is expected to be out of action "long-term, for sure" and may be sidelined until the playoffs, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Gaborik suffered the injury in a knee-on-knee collision Friday and Monday's follow-up evaluation revealed the extent of the damage.
