Fleury recorded his 29th career shutout Saturday, stopping 25 shots in a 3-0 blanking of Nashville. The Flower wasn't really tested until the third period, when the Preds threw 13 shots on goal. He beat Pittsburgh's next opponent, the Devils, two times at home in 2013-14, including an Opening Night shutout.

Fleury allowed four goals on 32 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Flyers. Fleury was bombarded by the Flyers offense over the course of the game, and couldn't make enough saves to earn his team a victory. The Pens will be back in action Thursday night against the Red Wings, but Fleury is expected to get the night off in favor of Tomas Greiss.

Fleury will start in goal Wednesday against the Flyers. Fleury is coming off his best game of the season, a victory in which he stopped 34 of 35 shots against an Islanders team that entered the game having scored 19 goals in its first four games. Fleury has started every game for the Penguins this season, but he will get a night off soon, as head coach Mike Johnston said backup goalie Thomas Greiss will start either Thursday or Saturday.

Fleury made 34 saves in a 3-1 victory over the Islanders on Saturday. The Pittsburgh goalie played well on a night in which New York was awarded seven power-play opportunities (going 0-for-7). Fleury, who has been in net for all four of the Pens' games, is expected to start in two of three contests in Week 3.

Fleury will be in the crease Saturday against the Islanders, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Fleury dropped his first decision of the season his last time out against the Stars, giving up two goals in the final three minutes of regulation to squander the victory. He'll likely have his hands full with a potent Islanders attack that's averaging a league-leading 4.5 goals per game.

Fleury gave up three goals -- including two in the final three minutes of regulation -- while making 25 saves in a 3-2 loss to Dallas on Thursday. The Flower was unable to hold the fort as Dallas laid siege to the Pittsburgh defense late in the third period. Coach Mike Johnston said Wednesday that he didn't expect to make any changes to the team's lineup for Thursday or Saturday, but there's a chance Fleury's game-losing softee with three ticks left might change Johnston's mind.

Fleury is in line to start Thursday's game against the Stars, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Fleury was the first goalie off the ice following Thursday's morning skate, which puts him on track to start Thursday night. He will be looking for his third consecutive victory after picking up wins in his first two starts of the season.

Coach Mike Johnston hinted Wednesday that Fleury might see both Week 2 starts Thursday and Saturday. While Johnston didn't confirm Fleury would get the nod in both games, he did say that he sees no reason to change the lineup defensively or in goal until the team plays three times in four days in Week 3. The Pens coach also said he would announce in advance whenever backup Thomas Greiss would start, something he has yet to do. As a result, the Flower is a decent bet to start the next two games -- barring a bad performance Thursday against the Stars.

Fleury made 25 saves in a 5-2 win Saturday for his second victory in as many starts. The team plays twice in Week 2 and coach Mike Johnston said Saturday that he will look to start backup Thomas Greiss at some point. The Penguins coach said he will announce his decision in advance, but fantasy owners in weekly leagues are at risk of getting just one start out of Fleury.
