Marc-Andre Fleury and the Penguins barely hung on to earn a 4-3 win over Columbus in Game 6 of their opening round playoff series Monday night. Fleury appeared to be cruising along in this outing, but what began as a 4-0 lead became a 4-3 advantage in the third period before the clock mercifully expired. All told, Fleury stopped 24 of 27 shots in the win, but leaves Penguins fans with little confidence in their number one netminder.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 23 saves as the Penguins moved a win away from the second round with a 3-1 victory against the Blue Jackets on Saturday night. Fleury had easily his best game of this year's playoffs. Let's be clear here, though: sure, Fleury bounced back in a big way from his collapse in Game 4, but he really didn't have to steal Pittsburgh the game. The Penguins outshot the Blue Jackets 51-24. Still, Fleury should build some confidence from this performance. He has a 3.18 goals-against average and .903 save percentage in the playoffs. Columbus hosts Game 6 on Monday.

Marc-Andre Fleury's misadventures behind his own cage led to the tying goal, and his misjudgment on a Nick Foligno shot in overtime led to the series-tying goal against Columbus Wednesday night, but the Penguins continue to insist they have faith in the goaltender. "He was great all night," forward James Neal said about Fleury after practice Friday. "He made big saves. We were sitting back on our heels from the first shift of the third period, and he was making save after save. He's the least of our worries."

Marc-Andre Fleury won't soon forget the difficulties he encountered in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss in Columbus in Game 4 of their first round playoff series. Fleury turned away 42 of 46 shots in the game, which is respectable on its own, but his misplay of a puck behind his net with under 30 seconds to play in the contest led to Brandon Dubinsky's tying goal before Nick Foligno completed the nightmare with the overtime winner. He'll get a chance to redeem himself when the series shifts back to Pittsburgh for Game 5.

Marc-Andre Fleury was far from exceptional Monday, but earned a victory in the Penguins 4-3 comeback win over the Blue Jackets. Fleury wasn't severely tested in the game, as he allowed three goals on just 20 shots in the victory, which gives the Pens a 2-1 series advantage. The Pittsburgh netminder has shown some rust so far in the postseason and could limit Pittsburgh's chances.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 41 saves in Pittsburgh's 4-3 double-overtime Game 2 loss to the Blue Jackets. It's pretty clear that Fleury is not going to be a netminder who steals the Penguins any games. Sure, he made a number of athletic saves, but he also appeared lost on several chances and doesn't appear to be playing too confidently, either. Fleury posted a nearly identical save percentage in this one (.911) as he did in Game 1 (.912). The Penguins head to Columbus for Game 3, which will be on Monday. Fleury recorded a .905 save percentage on the road during the regular season, compared to .924 at home.

Marc-Andre Fleury was bailed out by his teammates Wednesday night as the Penguins came back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat Columbus in Game 1 of their first round playoff series. Fleury allowed three goals on 34 shots in the victory, but he got off to a rocky start as he was beaten three times in just over twenty minutes of action before settling down. It wouldn't be playoff season if there weren't some controversy surrounding the Penguins netminder, but he has the job locked down this year.

Marc-Andre Fleury is hoping to avoid another postseason collapse. Over the last few years, Fleury has gone through a disturbing pattern of putting up good numbers in the regular season, only to significantly drop off in the playoffs. If that trend continues, the Penguins will likely once again fall short of winning the Stanley Cup. "I know I can do it," Fleury said of bouncing back. "I know we have a solid team. I'll try my best to get to it again."

Marc-Andre Fleury allowed four goals on 21 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to Philadelphia on Saturday. The disappointing performance ended his three-game winning streak. It also lowered his save percentage to .915 and raised his goals-against average to 2.37.

Marc-Andre Fleury will get the nod against Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon. That probably means that Jeff Zatkoff will play against Ottawa in Sunday's regular season finale.
