Ullmark gave up three goals on just eight shots during Wednesday's loss to the Predators. He was replaced by Chad Johnson at 6:29 of the second period.
EDGE Analysis
After recording four wins in five starts earlier in November, Ullmark looked like he might be emerging as the Sabres' new undisputed starting goaltender. However, he's now winless in his last four starts, opening the door for Johnson to step in and see a greater share of the starts going forward.

Ullmark will start in the crease Wednesday against the Predators, John Vogl of The Buffalo News report.s
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark continues to be a solid presence in net despite not receiving positive results because of it. The netminder has allowed exactly two goals in each of his last three games, but has just two wins to show for it over that span. He'll get the starting nod once again Wednesday, looking for a better result against a Predators club that has been shut out in three straight games.

Ullmark made 24 saves in Monday's 2-1 loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Despite getting tagged with the loss, the young Swede had a very strong game, shutting out the Blues for the first two periods. He has allowed two goals in each of his past four starts and is on the verge of taking the No. 1 job from Chad Johnson, at least until incumbent starter Robin Lehner (high ankle sprain) returns. The Sabres are a completely different team this year and Ullmark is a viable short-term solution for fantasy owners looking for some goalie help. Head coach Dan Bylsma has not announced who will play Wednesday against Nashville.

Ullmark will start between the pipes Monday against the Blues, Bill Hoppe of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark continues to split the workload in net with Chad Johnson, despite outperforming his fellow netminder. Through eight appearances this season, the 22-year-old Ullmark has posted a 2.31 GAA and .926 save percentage, earning him a 4-3-1 record thus far. While he's still the likely candidate to be sent back to the AHL when Robin Lehner returns from injury, the youngster has certainly made that a tougher thing to do. He'll look to keep things rolling Monday, facing a team in the Blues that averages 3.09 goals per game on the road this season.

Ullmark stopped 27 of 29 shots from the Blues in Thursday night's eventual shootout loss.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark allowed two power-play goals in regulation, one to high-flying defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and another credited to Vladimir Tarasenko, a talented forward. Ullmark would go on to stop both players in the first two rounds of the shootout, however, Alex Steen ended the game after potting a nifty backhander that required a review by the officials to confirm that the score didn't take place on a rebound as some had initially believed. Ullmark's record now stands at 4-3-1 with a 2.31 GAA and .926 save percentage.

Ullmark will be the starting netminder for Thursday evening's road contest against St. Louis, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark has been playing quite well this season, and his .925 save percentage and 2.39 GAA reflect this. He will continue his push Thusday to try to supplant Chad Johnson for Buffalo's starting goalie job. A road contest with St. Louis should present a good challenge for Ullmark, as the Blues have gotten off to a strong start this season. They currently are tied for second place in the Western Conference, despite losing three of their last four games.

Ullmark allowed just two goals on 28 shots Tuesday against Dallas, but was stuck with his third loss of the year.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres only mustered one goal against Antti Niemi on the other end, so despite allowing just two goals for the third straight game, he ended up in the loss column. He's had a couple clunkers, but otherwise, Ullmark's been rock-solid in net for the Sabres.

Ullmark will be the starting netminder Tuesday night against the Stars, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark has been steady in net for the Sabres this season, having allowed two or less goals in two-thirds of his appearances between the pipes. However, the Stars arguably stand as his toughest draw early on this campaign as it owns a 14-4-0 record along with the lead in the Western Conference standings.

EDGE Analysis
Ullmark got yanked against Tampa last week, but he's bounced back from that in impressive fashion, making a combined 71 saves over the course of consecutive wins against Vancouver and Florida. The Swedish rookie continues to impress -- he's now won four of his last five starts and seems to be taking over the Buffalo net from Chad Johnson.
