Turris scored his fourth point in the last three games in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Previously, Turris had endured an agonizing mid-season cold stretch, with just five points in 23 games between Dec. 19 and Feb. 13 that saw him all but vanish off most fantasy radars. Since then, however, he's been very consistent over the last quarter of the regular season, with 16 points in his last 20 games. He looks to be heading down the stretch and into the postseason with a good head of steam -- keep him in mind for your playoff drafts.

Turris scored his 13th goal of the season and had two assists in Thursday's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Turris has been producing steadily of late, helping the Predators to a 13-game point streak. The second-line center has four goals and 11 points in his last 12 games and has been playing on the second power-play unit. His consistent offensive production makes him worth rolling out whenever Nashville is in action.

Turris is expected to be a healthy scratch Tuesday night against the Stars, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The puck-pushing pivot reportedly took part in the team's morning skate, but his omission from line rushes is a strong hint that he'll miss out on the upcoming contest. Following his trade from Ottawa on Nov. 5, Turris has managed only 28 points (nine goals, 19 assists) with the Preds. However, he's still on an active two-game point streak, and coach Peter Laviolette had to scratch someone in order for Mike Fisher to make his first appearance at Bridgestone Arena since that ill-fated Game 6 loss to the Penguins in the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals.

Turris scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Make no mistake, Turris has been a key acquisition for the Preds this season since arriving from Ottawa via trade in November. He now has 28 points in 49 games, 14 of which have come on the power play, making him a key asset on many fantasy rosters.

Turris (illness) took the ice for warmups versus the Red Wings on Saturday, indicating he will return to action, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turris was under the weather, but appears to be ready to go for Saturday's tilt. After solid early returns since join the Predators, the center has hit the skids with one paltry goal in this previous 18 outings. In addition to his inability to find the back of the net, the 28-year-old has added a mere three helpers during his slump.

Turris (illness) practiced at morning skate, but Calle Jarnkrok skated alongside him during rushes, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turris thus can be considered a game-time decision for the evening's matchup against the Red Wings. It seems likely he will take the ice for warmups before a decision is made on the pivot's status for the contest. If he can't go, Pontus Aberg will likely draw in again for the Predators.

Turris (illness) will not suit up against the Flames on Thursday, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turris was a late scratch Thursday and can be considered day-to-day moving forward. The 6-foot-1 center has 22 points in 40 games with the Predators this year and has been a relatively well-rounded fantasy asset. His next opportunity to play will be Saturday against Detroit.

Turris recorded his third scoreless game Saturday against the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Perhaps more alarming is the fact that Turris' ice time has recently dropped to the 14 minute mark, roughly two minutes less than his season average of 16:34, and the roughly 19 minutes he was used to seeing the past few seasons while he was in Ottawa. Now with 31 points in 50 games, Turris still has a shot at cracking the 50-point plateau this year, but it will be a challenge if his ice time stays where it is.

Turris entered the All-Star break with just three point in his last 15 games.
EDGE Analysis
For about a month after being acquired from the Senators in mid-November, Turris was one of Nashville's best players with 17 points in his first 17 games. Since about mid-December, however, the Preds' No. 2 center has been stone cold, resulting in a sharp decline in his fantasy value. Of course, losing linemate Filip Forsberg to a hand injury in late December certainly hasn't helped. That said, Turris is still surrounded by a deep and talented supporting cast, which should allow him to get back to his high-scoring ways once the NHL resumes play next week.

Turris had just one goal in six games to close the month of December.
EDGE Analysis
Don't fret, fantasy owners, this is nothing more than a cold spell for the talented 28-year-old, as he still has an impressive 18 points in 23 games for the Preds since he was acquired from Ottawa back in early November. The Preds are one of the highest-scoring teams in the league (3.16 goals per game, seventh overall), meaning Turris is surrounded by an excellent supporting cast, starting with his wingers Kevin Fiala and Craig Smith, along with stud blueliners Roman Josi and P.K. Subban. Bottom line, it shouldn't take long for Turris to snap out of his funk, so you should continue to start him in your fantasy lineups whenever he takes to the ice.
