Turris is off to a good start this season, having resumed his role of second-line center for the Prds, alongside Craig Smith and Kevin Fiala. Given his strong supporting cast (and assuming he can stay healthy), Turris is a good bet to crack the 50-point plateau this year, something he has done on three previous occasions during his career. He's worth a spot in almost any fantasy lineup whenever he takes to the ice.

Turris will join Team Canada at the IIHF World Championship in Denmark.

The Canadians suffered a 5-1 loss to Finland on Saturday, so perhaps Turris can give his home country a lift offensively. However, it's worth noting that he failed to score and registered only three assists in the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs.

Turris recorded three assists for his only points through 13 playoff games and was a non-factor offensively in the final five games of the conference semifinals against the Jets.

Normally a quality attacking-zone penetrator, Turris only managed 17 shots on goal between series against the Avalanche and Jets, respectively, and he was unable to get anything to fall. Remember, the Predators acquired him in a three-team deal with the Senators and Avs last November to add some offensive punch to the second line, but there is probably no turning back with Turris having signed a six-year, $36 million contract extension right after his trade to Nashville.

Turris recorded an assist for the second consecutive game as Nashville defeated Winnipeg on Sunday to even the series at a game apiece.

After a quiet first-round series against Colorado, Nashville's second line -- which is comprised of Turris, Craig Smith, and Kevin Fiala -- has began to gain steam through two games against Winnipeg, contributing a goal in each contest.

Turris notched an assist -- his second point of this postseason -- in Friday's Game 1 against the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Despite the Predators requiring six games to advance through the first round, Turris didn't find the back of the net and has yet to since the regular season concluded. He will have plenty more opportunities to do so before the Predators' season comes to an end, but he's likely been a disappointment for those who selected him in playoff pools.

Turris registered two assists, a power-play point and a plus-3 rating during Thursday's 4-3 road win against the Capitals.

Turris has been exactly what the Predators were counting on when they acquired him from the Ottawa Senators earlier in the season with 13 goals, 41 points and a plus-22 rating in 64 games since becoming a Pred. The 28-year-old center has quickly found a home as the second-line center in Nashville and should be a productive fantasy performer once again in 2018-19.
