Turris sat out his seventh consecutive game as a healthy scratch Saturday against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The Preds have a real problem on their hands with Turris, who is less than two years into the six-year, $36 million deal they signed him to back in November of 2017. At this point, the best course of option for the Preds would surely be a trade, but there are likely few teams willing to take a chance on a player with Turris' numbers (just nine points in 19 games this season, 23 points in 55 games last season). For the time being, unless GM David Poile can swing a creative deal, Turris is likely going to continue watching from the press box.

Turris served as a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game Thursday against the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Originally brought to Nashville two seasons ago to fill the second-line center role behind Ryan Johansen, Turris has been an utter disappointment with just 32 points in 74 games over the past two campaigns. Prior to his recent benching, he was seeing an average TOI of just 13:34 while centering the Preds' fourth line. Turris will find his way back into the lineup at some point, but either way, he shouldn't be on anyone's fantasy roster right now.

Turris extended his current scoring drought to five games Saturday, skating just 10:59 in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
With the addition of Matt Duchene to the lineup this season, Turris has been relegated to centering the Preds' fourth line, resulting in a significant drop in ice time from last season (13:57 vs. 15:42). He now has just seven points in 14 games, which technically puts him on pace for a 40-point season. However, he'll need to snap out of his current funk pretty quickly or risk falling well short of that mark.

Turris notched an assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Turris has a four-game point streak going, with two goals and three helpers in that span. The 30-year-old center is up to seven points in nine contests this season, adding 18 shots on goal as well. He was deployed on the second line in Tuesday's contest, but he figures to bounce around the lineup throughout the season.

Turris scored a power-play goal on three shots and had two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 shootout loss versus Florida. He also won four of six faceoffs.
EDGE Analysis
Turris scored his third goal of the season, finding the net from the right circle with 6:30 left in the third period to send the game into overtime. It was the third goal of the year for Turris and first on the power play. The 30-year-old was a three-time 30-goal scorer in his days with Ottawa, but had only seven in 55 games for the Preds last season. He has three goals and six points in eight games this season, so perhaps he can push for somewhere in the range of 20 goals and 40 points in 2019-20.

Turris produced a helper in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Turris has done rather well in a fourth-line role, with five points and 11 shots on goal through seven games. He'll offset some of the reduced offense by skating on the second power-play unit, but his current pace doesn't match his usage. The 30-year-old will likely be streaky for much of the year.

Turris scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Turris opened the scoring and also provided a helper on the final goal by Nick Bonino in the third period. The 30-year-old center had only 23 points in 55 games in 2018-19 after topping 40 points in four of the five previous seasons. Turris has had to settle for a bottom-six role with Matt Duchene in town, which could limit the former's ability to return to his previous level of production.

Turris posted his first assist of the season Saturday against the Red Wings, however he centered the third line and skated just 12:13 in the 5-3 loss.
EDGE Analysis
The Preds originally acquired Turris two seasons ago to be their second-line center behind Ryan Johansen. That didn't exactly worked out as planned, which forced the team to go out and land Matt Duchene this summer. That move all but relegates Turris to a bottom-six role this season, and his ice time will surely continue to suffer as a result. Prior to last season, you could pretty much pencil Turris in for 50 points every year, however 40 points this season seems like a huge stretch.

Turris picked up an assist and two hits in Monday's 3-2 win over the Stars in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Turris has only two helpers in 12 games since being healthy scratched twice in March. It was a rough year in general for the center, who accumulated only 23 points in 55 games, his worst production since his first full campaign in 2008-09. Injuries accounted for some of his troubles, but he hasn't been good lately and can be avoided for postseason fantasy usage.

Turris (coach's decision) is expected to play Tuesday against the Maple Leafs, Adam Vingan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turris has struggled since returning from injury, as he only has four points in 16 games. That led to him getting benched for two contests, likely in an attempt to get him back on track heading into the playoffs. It remains to be seen where he draws back into the lineup should he return, though as Colton Sissons played well in Turris' absence.
