Quincey (upper body) will make his return to the lineup Tuesday against Ottawa, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defenseman has been sidelined for the team's last six games, and will skate with Damon Severson on the second pairing. Quincey has never provided much offense, but is a reliable defender who isn't afraid to sacrifice his body, as evidenced by his 71 hits and 69 blocked shots through 51 games in 2016-17.

Quincey (upper body) will not suit up for Sunday's road game against the Islanders, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quincey will miss his sixth straight game and remains without a clear timetable for return. He doesn't do a whole lot of scoring from the blue line anyhow -- he was riding a four-game point-less streak before going down with the injury -- so his continued absence isn't likely to affect the majority of fantasy owners.

Quincey (upper-body) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Islanders, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Devils are right back in action Sunday against these same Islanders, so Quincey won't have to wait long for his next chance to return. Fortunately, the recent returns of John Moore and Jon Merrill means New Jersey should be able to manage without him for at least one more game.

Quincey (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defenseman had already been ruled out for Thursday's game against Ottawa, but because his injured reserve status is retroactive to Feb. 4, he will be eligible to play Saturday against the Islanders. Quincey has been skating since Tuesday, so this roster move isn't an indication that there has been a setback in his recovery.

Quincey (upper body) will not be available against Ottawa on Thursday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quincey, who has missed New Jersey's last three outings, has resumed skating which is definitely a step in the right direction. Even once he is cleared, there is no guarantee the 31-year-old will be back on the ice with Jon Merrill and John Moore both back to 100 percent. The veteran Quincey would likely need to beat out both Seth Helgeson and Steve Santini for a spot in the game-day lineup.

Quincey (upper body) was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quincey's return to the ice is certainly a step in the right direction, but the 31-year-old blueliner will likely need to log several more full practices before returning to New Jersey's lineup. His forthcoming return to action will strengthen the Devils' depth at defense, but won't mean much to fantasy owners, as his meager offensive production -- 12 points in 51 games this season -- keeps him off the fantasy radar in most formats.

Quincey (upper body) was a scratch from Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Despite six days to rest up during the Devil's bye week, Qunicey was not able to get healthy in time and sat out for a second straight game. What's more, the 31-year-old did not practice Saturday, meaning that the injury is still lurking and could keep him out for an even longer period.

Quincey will not play in Monday's game against the Sabres due to an upper-body injury, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quincey has seen a rise in ice time recently, but hasn't seen much time on the man advantage. He's tallied 12 points (four goals, eight assists) through 51 contests this season, but provides an increased value in leagues that award hits (71) and blocked shots (69). His absence Monday will leave the Devils a bit shorthanded along the blue line, as the team boasts just seven other healthy defenseman. John Moore (concussion) was a full participant at practice Monday, so it's possible he will be activated and will return to the lineup in Quincey's place. The Devils don't play again until Sunday, so Quincey will hopefully be ready to return by then.

Quincey picked up a goal and two shots on goal in a 2-1 overtime victory over the Canucks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It was just Quincey's second game with multiple shots on goal this month, and his first goal since Nov. 17. After posting two goals, five points and a plus-7 rating in November, Quincey had just three assists and a minus-4 rating in December. Maybe this goal, which was his first point of January and pulled him back up to an even rating, will get him going again.

Quincey picked up a pair of assists in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
It hasn't happened in exciting fashion, but Quincey's quietly put together a solid 12-game stretch from the blue line, netting eight points and a plus-5 rating. That's brought his season point total (nine) just two shy of the meager 11 he managed in 47 games for Detroit last year. However, it's hard to count on Quincey's production to continue, considering it's nearly all come at even strength and the Devils aren't the sort of offensive powerhouse that can carry a mediocre 31-year-old defenseman to real fantasy relevance.
