Brodziak finished with a goal, a plus-1 rating, and five shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.The goal ends an eight game slump without a point for Brodziak. The 30-year-old only has 13 points on the season, and has limited value for fantasy owners except in the deepest of formats.

Broadziak scored a shorthanded goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-0 whipping of the Sabres. A sparkling fantasy line, but not one we can expect to see very often from Brodziak, who's much more grinder than scorer at this stage in his career.

Brodziak provided two assists in Monday's 3-2 win over the Jets. The checking line center stepped up offensively with Mikael Granlund (wrist) out following surgery, gathering secondary helpers on two of the Wild's three second-period tallies. While Granlund's injury could have a domino effect that results in more minutes being available, Brodziak probably won't be a direct replacement for Granlund on a scoring line. His fantasy value remains primarily relegated to the deepest of formats.

Brodziak was a healthy scratch in Thursday's win over Philadelphia. Brodziak had a two-point game on Nov. 13 but was a minus-2 the next two games. He may be a frequent healthy scratch as the Wild's defensive-minded center on a last line.

Brodziak doubled his season point total Thursday with a goal and an assist in a win over the Sabres. He'd managed two goals and zero assists in nine games coming in, so the helper was actually his first of the year. Brodziak doesn't chip in enough offense or secondary stats to be useful except in very deep leagues.

Brodziak (paternity) is set to join the Wild in Ottawa in time for Thursday's game, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Brodziak wasn't present for the morning skate after he was away from the team to witness the birth of his second child, but he'll make a separate flight to Ottawa and likely arrive at some point in the afternoon. Coach Mike Yeo indicated he planned on using Brodziak on Thursday, likely as the center for the Wild's fourth line.

Brodziak missed practice Wednesday to be with his expecting wife, but will join the Wild on their road trip, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Brodziak shouldn't miss anything unless something unexpected comes up. He should play Thursday against the Canadiens as the team embarks on a three-game road trip.

Brodziak's first two goals of the year brought the Wild back from a 3-1 third-period deficit Thursday against the Sharks, and they'd eventually go on to a 4-3 win in the shootout. He went plus-2 with four shots on the night. Just over five minutes after his first goal of the year brought the Wild within one, Brodziak struck with his second. They were also his first points of the year, as he'd been silenced in his first three outings.

Brodziak was a healthy scratch in Saturday's win over Tampa Bay. He's been a healthy scratch in four consecutive games. Brodziak looks stuck on the bench in favor of Ryan Carter at this point.

Brodziak was a healthy scratch in Friday's loss to Anaheim. Brodziak typically won't be the odd man out, but the Wild are healthy and want to get other players ice time early in the year.
