Brodziak (foot) was activated from injured reserve Friday and is ready to return to the lineup starting on Saturday in Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak's speedy recovery gets him back into the St. Louis lineup two weeks earlier than originally expected. The injury kept the 32-year-old out of action for 10 games and in that time, the Blues have won seven games including the last six in a row. Maybe this uptick in productivity for the team as whole will help Brodziak's individual productivity when he returns to the lineup.

Brodziak is likely to miss at least five weeks with an injury to his right foot, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
A trip to IR for Brodziak seems inevitable; meanwhile, the versatile and industrious pivot will be replaced by Russian prospect Ivan Barbashev, who has been recalled from AHL Chicago. While Brodziak hadn't jumped off the page in any category, he managed 10 points in 47 games to complement 39 hits and 27 blocked shots, in spite of averaging a mere 10:11 of ice time -- that's efficient production for someone who was playing so sparingly.

Brodziak scored for the second time in as many games Tuesday in St. Louis' 3-2 overtime loss to Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Get Brodziak while he's hot, because these streaks are ephemeral. The Blues' fourth line has been active offensively of late with Brodziak collecting three goals and two assists in the last seven games. Prior to this run, he had three points in the season's first 25 games.

Brodziak scored his third goal of the season in Thursday night's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak and his mates on the fourth line have drawn raves from the coaching staff this season, but it's been a while since any of them have popped up on the scoresheet. This was the first point generated by that unit in eight games. If Blues coach Ken Hitchcock wants to add an offensive presence to the line, the cupboard is pretty bare. The members of the third line haven't been producing, and Thursday's healthy scratches, Nail Yakupov and Ty Rattie, have a combined 16 shots and five points over 21 games.

Brodziak turned on the goal light Saturday in a 3-1 win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak drove home a rebound off a Scottie Upshall shot in the third period. There's only so much a player can do offensively with a fourth-line role, but Brodziak has been efficient with a pair of goals in his last three games

Brodziak had an assist, three hits and five penalty minutes in Sunday night's 5-1 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
The point was Brodziak's first of the season and though he's not a notable point producer -- he averages a mere 0.14 per game in 88 games for the Blues -- it was a long time coming. The fourth line has generated scoring chances this season, but goals have been hard to come by.

Brodziak (upper body) will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Oilers, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
We have Brodziak projected to appear on the fourth line Thursday, centering Scottie Upshall and Ryan Reaves. It's safe to overlook Brodziak in most fantasy leagues, given that he's in a limited role and past his prime at 32 years old.

Brodziak (upper body) took the ice Wednesday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak sustained an above-the-waist affliction during the Blues 3-2 win over the Rangers on Saturday and was held out of Tuesday's morning skate and game against the Blackhawks as a result. However, the injury does not appear to be overly serious as he has resumed skating. While there's a chance the 32-year-old center could miss Thursday's meeting with Edmonton as a precaution, it seems likely he'll be a full go for St. Louis' Oct. 22 matchup with Calgary.

Brodziak (upper body) did not participate in Tuesday's morning skate and is not expected to play Tuesday night against Vancouver, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak suffered an upper-body injury during the Blues' most recent game Saturday. The fact that he's traveling with the team suggests he'll get back to the lineup either Thursday in Edmonton or Saturday in Calgary.

Brodziak (upper body) will join the team for their six-game road trip, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brodziak logged just 2:22 of ice time in Saturday's contest but seems likely to return to the lineup at some point during the Blues' road trip. The center had a disappointing 2015-16 campaign in which he garnered just seven goals and four assists and his struggles appear to be carrying into this season as he has yet to record a point. Brodziak did manage four PIM, two hits, and one blocked shot so far, but those numbers are not going to inspire confidence among fantasy owners.
