Holl scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, blocked two shots, went plus-2 and added two PIM in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Holl hasn't done much on offense this year, but he was able to convert on a shorthanded rush at 14:06 of the first period Saturday. The 29-year-old is up to two points, 14 shots on net, 50 hits, 44 blocked shots and 10 PIM in 25 contests overall. Bad luck has played a part in Holl's quiet offense this year, although most Maple Leafs blueliners outside of Morgan Rielly tend not to be heavily involved in that aspect of the game.

Holl notched an assist in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Holl finally got on the scoresheet with the secondary assist on Ondrej Kase's second-period tally. The 29-year-old Holl had gone without a point in 19 appearances to open the year. He's added 43 hits, 38 blocked shots, 11 shots on net, six PIM and a plus-1 rating. He had 20 points in 55 games last year, so there's reason to believe his offense should start to trend in the right direction now that he's gotten on the scoresheet.

Holl (illness) returned to practice Monday and is expected to be in action versus the Rangers, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holl missed Saturday's clash with the Senators but appears to be back to 100 percent. In two games this year, the 29-year-old blueliner has tallied three hits, eight blocks and one shot. Given his limited offensive upside, fantasy players shouldn't be banking on Holl providing much more than low-end value.

Holl (illness) tested negative for COVID-19 but didn't practice Sunday because he still isn't feeling well, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holl missed Saturday's game against Ottawa after skating over 20 minutes in each of the season's first two games. At this point, it's unclear if he'll be ready to play Monday against the Rangers or if Friday's date with the visiting Sharks is a more realistic return target.

Holl recorded an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canadiens in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
Holl had a shot attempt in the second period that led to a rebound buried by Auston Matthews. The 29-year-old Holl posted a career-high 20 points in 55 regular-season games. The Minnesota native typically plays a top-four role, but he's more of a defensive player -- don't count on a ton of offense from him in the postseason.

Holl (undisclosed) is in doubt for Wednesday's matchup with the Senators, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holl set new career highs this season in assists (18), points (20) and ice time per game (21:11), including racking up six helpers in his previous eight contests. The Minnesota native could be a solid mid-range fantasy option once cleared to play.

Holl (undisclosed) didn't practice Monday and will be reassessed prior to Wednesday's game against the Senators, Lance Hornsby of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear if Holl's absence from Monday's practice was related to the puck to the face he took just over a week ago. Holl will hope to return to practice Tuesday, and if he does so, that would put him on track to assume his usual second-pairing role in Wednesday's game.
