Holl remains with the Leafs, but continues to watch from the press box.
EDGE Analysis
He has dressed and played in a single game for the Leafs. Holl's fantasy value just can't be assessed when he spends more time in a thousand-dollar suit than in his hockey equipment.

Holl is still waiting to make his debut this season.
EDGE Analysis
He continues to watch from the press box, as Igor Ozhiganov continues to impress coach Mike Babcock. Holl has no fantasy value at this point and should remain on the wire until he earns regular playing time (and shows his offensive talent).

Holl remains with Toronto for now, but seems to have been beaten by Igor Ozhiganov for the sixth spot on the blue line, reports the Toronto Sun.
EDGE Analysis
Ozhiganov is 26 and coming off a strong KHL career. Holl's value is in the future. He will likely spend the season in the AHL.

Holl signed a two-year, $1.35 million contract extension with the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
We saw this one coming after Holl received a qualifying offer as a restricted free agent a little over a week ago. The Minnesota native is known as a fluid skater, and he seemingly gives it his all on both ends of the ice. Last season, Holl accumulated seven goals, 21 assists, and a plus-23 rating over 60 games for AHL Toronto. The Buds even called him up to the big stage for two games in 2017-18, with the 6-foot-3, 205-pound rearguard scoring each time out. We figure that he'll be an intriguing post-draft pick-up for most fantasy leaguers.

Holl was qualified by the Maple Leafs on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Holl looked sharp in a two-game call-up to the Buds, notching two goals and registering a plus-5 rating. He was one of the best blueliners on the AHL Toronto Marlies in 2017-18. Holl scored seven goals and 28 points, and finished plus-23 in 60 regular-season games. He also added three goals and two assists in 20 playoff games.

Holl was loaned back to the team's AHL Toronto affiliate Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Holl provided a spark for the Maple Leafs in his short time with the NHL club, but he will head back to the minors with the news that Morgan Rielly is healthy and has been activated from injured reserve. He's hung around the AHL ranks since 2014-15, but perhaps his success in the minors this season (20 points in 39 games, plus-20 rating) and his good impression in his short stint with the top club will put him in consideration for a permanent spot at the NHL level in the future.

Holl scored his second goal in as many games in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Holl has exactly two games under his NHL belt and he's clearly having the time of his life. He's still on emergency recall and will be sent back down to the AHL when the blue liners heal. Holl had 20 points, including four goals, in 39 games for the Toronto Marlies prior to the call up.

The Maple Leafs recalled Holl from AHL Toronto on an emergency basis Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Roman Polak was just placed on injured reserve due to an infection and Ron Hainsey is considered a game-time decision due to an illness, so if Hainsey's unable to go Wednesday, Toronto will rely on Holl to step in and make his NHL debut against the Islanders. The 26-year-old blueliner has notched four goals and 20 points in 39 games with AHL Toronto this season.

Holl -- who inked a one-year contract with Toronto on Wednesday, according to TSN -- will look to improve upon his 19-point season.
EDGE Analysis
Holl has spent the past two seasons with AHL Toronto as he awaits the chance to make his NHL debut. Selected in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft, the former Minnesota Golden Gopher can skate and move the puck well but lacks a true scoring touch which will limit his fantasy value if he does get called up by the Leafs.

Sat 7/2/16 7:52 PM

Holl signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Buds were awful last season, but that allowed the AHL Marlies to send a bunch of players to the parent club in early 2016 -- Holl wasn't a part of that group, though he replenished the minor-league system to some degree, producing five goals and 16 assists in 60 games, plus four assists in a long playoff run. Holl is just another talented defenseman awaiting his chance on the big stage.
