Josh Harding will once again be between the pipes for the Wild. He will get the start for the injured Niklas Backstrom against the Stars Saturday night.

Josh Harding turned aside 14 of 15 shots Thursday to earn a 2-1 victory over the Jets. It was a strong team effort by the Wild as they limited Winnipeg to such a low shot total, however Harding made the stops he needed to in order to earn the win. Look for him to continue tending goal for Minnesota while Niklas Backstrom nurses his knee injury.

"There is a poor perception of people diagnosed with MS. People immediately think wheelchair and death," Harding said in a statement. "I want to be a role model for others diagnosed with MS by showing that this will not come between me and my goals." Harding was diagnosed in October 2012, one of 2.1 million people worldwide. He missed three months of the 2012-13 season due to complications with his medication. Harding, 29 last month, played five regular-season games and all five of Minnesota's first-round Stanley Cup Playoff loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The native of Saskatchewan won the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, awarded to the NHL player who "best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey."

Goaltender Josh Harding allowed three goals on 18 shots before being replaced by backup Darcy Kuemper in the Minnesota Wild's series-ending, 5-1 loss to the Blackhawks in Chicago Thursday night. Harding told the Wild that he was fine to play after leaving Tuesday's game with a leg injury. Darcy Kuemper, who replaced Harding in Tuesday's 3-0 loss, came in for Harding again Thursday and gave up two goals on 11 shots.
