Given the chance due to Niklas Backstrom's knee injury and struggles, Harding is doing nothing to give the goaltender job back. He's on a streak of eight straight games helping the Wild earn at least one point, and during that span, he's given up only 10 goals. Harding has a 1.22 goals-against average and .947 save percentage, witha 9-2-2 record.

Josh Harding continues to get the starts in the Minnesota goal. He will be in net Saturday night against the Hurricanes. Wild coach Mike Yeo did say that Niklas Backstrom will get a chance to start in the team's upcoming homestand which starts next week.

He gave up three goals on 31 shots Friday, sub-par for himn, but he has a puny goals-against average of 1.11 in 11 games this season.
